We hired R and D to do our porch and I cannot say enough how lucky we feel. They are professional , honest, thoughtful and truly just super nice guys! the work is done perfectly and quickly. I didn't even have to worry about cleaning up after the project was finish . they are amazing! I highly recommend their services if you looking for a patio porch their work is impeccable.

We called Richard from R&D Aluminum for a quote and he was able to come out within a few days. He gave us a reasonable quote and was able to start with in one week. Didn't ask for any payment until the work was completed. They were unable to complete the work because of rain but came back out the next day to complete the job.He is very reliable and shows up when he says he will. I had many questions and he answered all of them courteously and even sent me pictures to give me a better idea. A couple of days after he completed the work I asked him a question and he quickly replied. I would recommend

R & D Aluminum replaced some of my old heavy steel storm panels with accordion shutters. The Job was professional and timely. I appreciate the fact that the company did not require any down payment to do the installation. The job is well done.

Richard was very professional. Him and his assistant came out to measure and give us a quote on replacing our entire patio roof. Within a few weeks it was completed and looks beautiful. Very reasonable price as well. It would have been completed even sooner, but we had to wait for the correct panels to be delivered before they could take down the old roof and replace it with the new one. Once the work actually got started they were able to finish in just a few days.

I have to say I'm impressed with the quality of work and service I was provided by Richard. He was referred by one of my colleagues at work and gotta say I understand why. I had called Richard to get shutters for my home and next day he was doing measurements at home and got me a quote that same day. He perfectly understood what I wanted and even gave me a few options to make it work. He took care of permits with the city and scheduled inspections. In every way, they surpassed my expectations. In my case, what most impressed me was their respect for their scheduled hours. Even the municipal inspection took place the morning after they left! Their product is excellent, their work is pristine and rapid. During the whole time Richard Payne, the owner, was with his crew. He provided detailed explanations of how to care for the shutters he installed (six openings). I can't believe that all this was included with no down payment and at a price that was highly competitive.

Our experience with R&D Aluminum has been great and we have found them to be honest and competent (which can be a hard combination to find). We most recently hired them to re-screen our screened in porch and also repair the roof covering the screened in porch which was leaking, and they have also started cleaning our gutters on a regular basis. We had also hired them 7 years ago to install retractable hurricane shutters and they did a great job then as well. Highly recommended.

These guys did such an amazing job. They came early and worked for a good while, very detailed. It was exactly how we wanted our front porch to look. Contacted several companies for storm panels covering one door. R&D was the first to send a reply and quote. I was going to order panels and do the install myself, but Richard said they only offered the panels if they also did the install. Since his price was only $20 over my best price for panels alone, I happily signed a contract with R&D. Panels were installed a week later, and this was between Christmas and New Years! Great service, excellent customer service, top quality and fast turnaround. What else can you ask for? Highly recommend!

If you want to see how a rip off company conducts business for shutters read my other review. If you want to see how a true professional does it, keep on reading. I contacted a quite few shutter companies with great reviews after my last horrible experience. To save time, I asked to see if they give quotes for accordion shutters by email if I already have the measurements. R & D and a few more said yes.
Richard had the quote to me the same day I sent him the measurements. I actually had to wait to get back to him because the other companies didn't respond as fast as he did. Turned out

They installed an aluminum roof patio a few months ago. I've actually waited until we've had a good hard rain to post a review to make sure it didn't leak. Quality of materials and workmanship appears to be very good and I extremely pleased with the end result. Pricing was comparable or better and the other quotes that I received. The crew was clean and didn't leave any mess behind. Absolutely recommend!
