Services
Every two years, the wheels should be lubricated, tracks cleared of debris and locks should be inspected and replaced if necessary. After ten years, this service should be performed yearly. As soon as a storm is predicted to head our way, check all your shutters. Be sure accordion shutters will close and lock properly.
All Eyewall Armor Accordion Shutters have been designed with a patented offset screw boss that isolates the assembly screw from the hinging of the shutter blades. This minimizes "hinge corrosion" which is the most common failure mode of all other accordions. The assembly screws can be easily lubricated, ensuring continuous and reliable operation and protection when you need it most.
The Eyewall Armor FullView and TC-UltraView Bahama Shutters surpass Florida Building Code HVHZ & non-HVHZ requirements and IBC/IRC ASTM Standard requirements, which are the most rigid in the nation. The Eyewall Armor FullView and TC-UltraView Bahamas have Florida Building Code HVHZ/non-HVHZ approvals for all regions.
