The National JACL Credit Union was originally sponsored and chartered by members of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL). The J.A.C.L. was founded in 1929 and is the oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization in the United States.
The J.A.C.L. monitors and responds to issues that enhance or threaten the civil and human rights of all Americans and implements strategies to effect positive social change, particularly to the Asian Pacific American community.

We are continually working to ensure that our site adheres to WCAG standards. Since being founded in 1943, the National JACL Credit Union has supported the local and national JACL organization by sponsoring and participating in various events and conventions. As the Asian community has grown in the Salt Lake valley, the credit union has also participated in more community activities such as the Asian Festival, Asian Chamber of Commerce, Nikkei Center, Japanese in Utah Centennial and Nihon Matsuri.

Nothing but great customer service and products. I have 3 auto loans and a boat loan with NJACLCU and 1 Heloc. All 4 have closed easily without any issues. One car was a cross country purchase. The funds were wired and all I had to do was sign a few papers when I picked up the car. I have never had an issue working with them virtually or on the phone. I do not need to be in Utah to get the most out of the CU. NJACL CU is quickly becoming my main bank.

Terri helped me setup a home equity line of credit. The terms of the loan were far better than all other banks, they loaned 100% of the equity in the house and there was no requirement to occupy the house for at least a year. The location is excellent, and the staff is excellent. I will continue to bank here for the rest of my life

Quick customer service. When you call, the first person that answers addresses your issue 90% of the time. I live in California, and it is easy to use their services from afar. Their interest rates on savings accounts aren't great, but that is common with these types of accounts. Nothing out of the ordinary.
