Cyprus Credit Union was founded in 1928 by 22 Kennecott Copper Company employees with assets totaling less than $100. Today, we are the longest serving credit union in Utah and have a diverse membership with financial services available to any Utah resident. We are member owned and are overseen by a volunteer board of directors.

We feature branch locations across the Wasatch Front to better serve the needs of our members. Our extensive network of ATMs provide free, convenient access to more than 28,000 locations nationwide and our participation in the shared branching network allows our members access to their Cyprus account from almost anywhere.

I went to deposit a check and they treated me like a criminal as if I was depositing a fraudulent check. Manager wouldn't even release a half of a percent of the amount I deposited.
I've been banking with Cyprus for over 4 years and have deposited checks many times and never has one had an issue. Very disappointed.

No customer service at all. Requested multiple call backs with no response. They didn't change my address to my debit card so I couldn't purchase anything. They also blocked me from paying off my vehicle from another bank. Useless.

I was only person at drive thru took 3 mins to even have someone address me, I was certain I got the hours wrong So I watched my car clock.. Nope! 9:28 AM, sign still said CLOSED. No big deal. However still being the ONLY person in person at drive thru with a simple check transaction. I waited so long that after 5 mins with no word, I decided to go inside to get my simple receipt of transaction. I had no cash to deposit.. JUST CHECKS DEPOSITED IN SAME ACCOUNT! What gives Cyprus??.. this is your Only JOB: Withdrawals and deposits. It can't possibly take 8 mins to do this when I am the Only

This is a Fabulous place to work with! They are kind, caring and knowledgeable about their work. Most of all they are great with my Service Dog. I have always been treated great and my SD Bagheera loves to go and get a biscuit..

DO NOT go to this credit union for a mortgage loan or any loan at that.The customer service is horrible. No one calls you back or emails you back. When you ask about information on different types of loans they tell you they will call you back and they don’t. They keep pulling your credit even after the 30 day period and after you tell them to stop. Definitely WOULDN'T recommend!!!! Wasted my time with them.

Cheryl was absolutely amazing. The first location I went to had an issue with their card printer so I needed to go to this location. Cheryl C (I think was their last name) was very friendly with an upbeat attitude. While I was waiting for my card to print they were getting ready to close up and Cheryl was helping with the drive through. A customer needed a lot of quarters so Cheryl had the bank member come inside. Afterwards (I am still in the bank waiting for my cards to print) I hear Rob scolding Cheryl about helping the bank member. Cheryl tried to explain that she realized the moment she told

This branch is soooooooo slow! Every visit is longer than 20 min.
This drive thru is the WORST.
This happens to be the only branch in the direction I'm going today. That is the only reason I ever stop here. No greeting whatsoever. When I pressed the call button, the response was short and sweet...
'Do you have a question?'
That was it.

Came to the branch to make a deposit in my friends account. I asked for a deposit slip and was told that I would have to order deposit slips. I told them that im making a one time deposit in my friends account so is there a blank deposit slip i could fill out. After 10 minutes he came back and said well you can order deposit slips AGAIN and I asked him AGAIN for just a blank deposit slip. He then said they didn't have them.i ended up just writing the information on a piece of paper and sent that in with the money. After sending in the deposit Ryan came back on the intercom and stated again that

Been a while since I have used this branch. Will be even longer before I do it again.
Went in to replace my card because someone tried using it for charges which they caught and stopped.
They were busy and I ended up with the gal that was covering the drive through. She said she couldn’t do it but go stand by the desk by the door and someone would help me.
Watched 6 other customers get helped with no one asking me what I needed and obviously the gal that I had started with didn’t tell her colleagues about me.
When the gal working the window right next to me finally finished with her customer

Jimmy has been awesome helping me set up my loan on my house! I had to go out of the country in the middle of it and he was quick to respond to emails, answer questions, and organize the appraisal. I definitely recommend him. He has made the entire process easy.

They have between 6-8 employees in the bank at any time and 1-3 customers total, yet you will wait ten minutes in line because 50% of the employees do nothing but sit there and chat. Occasionally someone at a desk will help someone in line, grudgingly with a huge sigh.

The bank manager is just as bad because she can be heard just Blabbing with employees about her day in the back at times.

They are very slow. They are talking with each other instead of helping me. Their are two of them literally doing nothing. They keep looking at me and then going back to their conversation. They kept me waiting 7 minutes. Very unprofessional.
