Gundy Powder Coating provides a wide range of services for industrial, commercial and residential clients in our new Bay Shore, New York facility.
Powder Coating, often called "dry" painting, is an advanced method of applying a decorative and protective finish to a wide range of materials and products that are used by both industries and consumers. It is an environmentally friendly process which offers finishes in a wide variety of styles and colors.
Less costly, cleaner and environmentally friendly than conventional liquid painting or electroplating, powder coating provides an aesthetically beautiful and consistent finish that is also durable, resists rusting, color fading, and abrasion. Durability Powder coating gives consumers, businesses, and industry one of the most economical, longest-lasting, and most color-durable quality finishes available.
Each part is pre-treated in our five-stage washer system that cleans, degreases and etches for maximum powder coating adhesion. Parts that with an old, existing finish are and sandblasted and, when necessary, hand sanded to provide a clean surface for new powder. Pigment and resin are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto each part from two manually operated spray guns.
Gundy specializes in precise customer color matches, in any finish or gloss. Each product is finished to our customers' exact specifications to meet all commercial requirements. Our dedicated wrapping and packaging department ensures that your job is carefully cushioned for safe delivery.
