My car was completed as achy and all personnel I spoke with treated me very professional and with great respect. I would recommend Johns Auto to anyone needing small or large repair. They went the extra mile to insure my alignment was correct and carefully explained the results. I will recommend them to all I know.
You never know how a new business will do, but with crazy hard work, long hours and the good people of Meridian we are still going strong today. Even though you don't see me up front as much you used to my personal cell number is on every invoice. You have many choices for auto repair and we are glad you trust us with your vehicle.
The failure of a timing belt in many cars can result in major engine damage. The cost of repairing an engine with a broken timing belt is much greater than the cost of a timing belt replacement. There are many sensors and computerized components that manage your vehicle's engine performance and emissions.

I work near John's Auto and pass by it on my way home every day. First thing I've noticed Is that they stay pretty busy, which initially convinced me that they must do good work. But they're never too busy that they can't fit you in. I know this from experience.
I was on my way home from work about to get on the freeway and my '15 Silverado went into limp mode with a check engine light. I was able to nurse it back towards work, and I figured I'd stop at John's for a consultation. As soon as I walked in the door, I was offered help and one of the gents there grabbed a code reader. We went out to

Went in to get something fixed to pass our emissions. We gave them the names of the issues that were causing a failed result. They spent an entire day doing diagnostic testing on it ($250).
They came back with giving us a huge long list of things they said needed fixed, including our transmission. The total bill was going to be over $7,000 dollars. We took the car back, paid the diagnostic fee, and took our business elsewhere. There was no way we were going to pay what the car was almost worth just to pass our emissions. The next mechanic we went to laughed at what we experienced at John’s auto

What a story... It began with a preventative transmission repair before taking a long trip. A few hours down the road it broke down about 30 minutes from the next small town in Utah. The work and tow were warrantied, but the shop we randomly selected drug their feet in looking at the problem. Their initial diagnosis was 'a new transmission'. (we just spent a pretty penny repairing it).
Kevin, our service advisor, was diligent about holding that shop to a higher standard. (troubleshoot the issue, don't 'shotgun') After a few weeks John (owner) brought the vehicle back to Kuna (on his dime, standing

Bought a used vehicle and brought it in to John's Auto to change oil, check tires and brakes, and to conduct diagnostics on a notification light. They did all of that and only charged for the oil change. The diagnostics showed an issue that needed to be addressed by a dealership. The brakes and tires checked out. Appreciated the service and professionalism.

Well. I wasn’t going to leave a review but I got a text message from John’s asking me to review my latest experience at Johns Automotive. Let me start by saying they were great on my previous visit but this last one not so much. I took my van in because it was overheating on hot days and especially when the air conditioning was on. They initially told me it would be $150 for the diagnosis. The diagnosis was that it was a bad fan clutch. I approved the repair. They contacted me and said that the repair did not solve the problem and that they were going to investigate further. They came back

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
I explained the situation, they took the time to hear me out. They made notes and when I dropped my car off the next day, they still had all the information. They did the work in pretty much the way I wanted it done, and in a very good timeframe, too. Positive experience, would go there again.

I recently had a problem with my car driving home from work, so as a repair partner for Carmax, I took the car to John's Auto Care for repairs that had to do with a fuel injector gone bad. This was confirmed by Carmax by a few mechanic who ran the codes, but couldn't do the work at that time.
The people at John's Auto Care were friendly, professional and prompt. The car was ready in 2 days and they updated me every day.
The car is driving perfectly!!

Excellent service, friendly guys. I was in there this week for a battery change on my Audi. I had called my normal Audi mechanic who couldn't get me in for a week (what? A week?) Called around to about 6 other places, who transferred me and made me leave messages (to which I haven't received a call back YET from). My husband called John's Auto Care. We got a LIVE PERSON on the phone. They stated they too were pretty busy but to bring the car in and they would try to squeeze us in. Within 1 hour of showing up I had a new battery installed, friendly people to chat with and my car was

My car broke down in Meridian, Idaho, in the middle of a road trip and the staff at John's were incredibly helpful in helping me through my auto troubles. The staff at John's were all very helpful and respectful and I felt the charges for services were very fair. Thanks to the staff there for their friendliness! I would highly recommend John's in the future.

These guys are AWESOME!! Was on my way from Salt Lake to Seattle and an annoying problem came up with muy BMW. It is an easy fix that I have done several times in my driveway, but it requires ramps and taking the belly pan off. I stopped at John's and explained my problem and that my family was waiting at the motel to get back on our way. They pulled my car right it, put it on the lift and fixer the problem. Total time in and out was10 minutes. Here is the kicker.... Mechanic said it was too short of a time to bill and to have a save drive.

While towing a 21' trailer on vacation to Meridian in the recent record-setting heat, my 2002 Expedition started experiencing a loss of engine power when taking off from any stop. No engine lights ever came on, and this odd condition would only happen after the engine was warmed up, towing the trailer, and the outside temperature was over 95 F. Knowing that this type of intermittent problem IS and can be an expensive one, the assistant manager, Kevin, said they try to diagnose the problem for a minimum charge of $100.

Went there once for water pump and found out after repairs were done how over priced they are. Have never been back, would not recommend this place to anyone, call around and get a second opinion, most places do same quality work for a lot less! Not looking for discounts from a friend, just best pricing. You can call around and get better pricing from other places. If you go here bring your platinum card, cause you will pay for it

I've known John for decades and have found him to be as good as they get. I've had all kinds of repairs done over the years and NOTHING has ever been anything but first rate. He pays his mechanics well providing they do the job right the first time so you seldom see something come back to be re-done. I am certain that several of these comments left in the past have been purely made up, especially the ones from out of the area. Facebook courage is easy to strut but I'm sure they would have none face-to-face. Once my brother came through in his motor home, broke down and, even

Our experience at John's Auto was simply the best. We were in the middle of a cross country trip and in need of a smart, accurate and quick (and reasonable) diagnosis of our vehicle's trouble. Kevin at John's Auto Care was incredibly professional, kind, and so helpful. Their space (including their restrooms!) was really clean and inviting. They let us keep our travel trailer which we were hauling, in their lot for several days as we figured out our best options for moving forward with our trip. We can't say enough out about Kevin's great customer service, the smart

This was an awful experience. I was passing through town on a cross country trip and I knew my front bearings and drive axles were on their way out, so I decided to get them fixed before the last leg of my trip. Went into John's and spoke with an employee who hoisted up my car and proceeded to point out to me every thing that was wrong with my 2002 subaru outback. I was polite and understood there are common issues with aging cars, but nothing I thought needed my dire attention to make it home. So I asked him for a quote for only the things I asked to be repaired and he quoted me double
