Services
We ask that you please tip your stylist in cash. If we charge the tip there is a processing fee, and it takes away from the appreciation you are showing your stylist for their excellence work. We appreciate your cooperation in this. We like to see our stylists recognized for their dedication to their craft.

Had a great first time experience here for my first haircut in 16 months. Chevelle did a fabulous job adding life and layers back to my hair -- I love the body and movement my hair has now. She was really clear and accurate about how much she was taking off -- exactly the amount I wanted! -- and giving me a low-maintenance look. I'll definitely be back.

I absolutely love my Hairstylist Chevelle!!!! She has transformed my hair over the years back to its natural healthy texture, every time she puts her hands into my very thick kinky natural hair. She also convinces me to be adventurous and do a sew-in (for protectiveness of my natural hair). If you need a stylist that listens and execute creations beyond what you would imagine, Definitely make an appointment with her.

I, too, suffered from quarantine hair. My ends were done, hair falling, my long-time hair stylist moved to Vegas... Jayson was SO incredible! I had so many reservations about returning to the salon. He took his time, explained everything, so friendly, and gave me such a beautiful haircut!
I went for the keratin-express to see how I felt about the process. My hair feels just spectacular!
For reference-- I have... or I guess I should now say had... transitioned hair to natural maybe 3C state that was severely damaged by another stylist at another salon.

Ms. Chevelle Joseph has cared for my hair for the last 10 years, and she continues to provide outstanding service. Chevelle is the consummate hair stylist-- She's knowledgeable, trendy, and promotes healthy hair. She respects your time and consistently delivers above and beyond! I've literally had her do everything to my hair--cuts, installs, custom wigs, color, grow-outs, updos, braid downs--she does EVERYTHING well (AND she does not take all day to get you right!) On top of all of that, Inzio is a gorgeous salon. Everything about these two together (Chevelle + Inzio) feels good and makes you look great!

For starters, the salon is so nice! All of the stylists greet you when you walk in, you feel nice and welcomed.The service is exceptional and I'm always pleased. I first came to get my hair colored by Chevelle in December. She did an awesome job. She gave me suggestions (like getting a trim) as well as doing exactly what I asked. She did a blow-dry and flat ironed it and it lasted about two weeks. I plan on making this salon a part of my monthly ritual. Also, the glass of wine makes the experience a lot more relaxing!

I just moved to DC 2 months ago and have been stressing about finding a new home salon. I’m mixed with super curly hair so this process is always more challenging than normal. I literally met Jayson on a street corner as I was walking to work. I booked my appt. that day for a few days later. Yesterday I had my hair appt. and I am so happy that I found Jayson and Inizio. The salon is absolutely beautiful, the shampoo chairs massage you while you rinse, and the cost is very reasonable. I never leave reviews but I’m so happy with my entire experience, that I had to. Thanks Jayson and the sweet

Charles and Jayson are absolutely phenomenal stylists - I am so glad that I found these guys when I moved to DC! I used to live right down the street and walk to my appointments, I now come from across town to visit them because I couldn't imagine anybody else doing my hair. I've gone through about three different colors, three hair lengths, one deadbeat boyfriend, and 4 roommates since moving -- but have kept Charles and Jayson as my stylists through all of it because of their amazing work! They know what they're doing and you can trust them to create a look that makes you shine

I am obsessed! For way too long I wasn't taking my hair cuts and colors seriously and would always be disappointed when I left other salons. I found this place by a google search and I am so glad I bit the bullet and made an appointment. Jayson is a miracle worker and he gave me the best color and haircut! I wanted to go back to match my natural color, and showed him baby pictures. He worked his magic and it is so similar it's like I never had grey hairs or bad dye jobs before! The cut is perfect and I cannot day enough good things about this salon.

Great place for balayage in DC. Affordable prices, a massage chair while you wash your hair, champagne while you wait, !aways able to get an appointment even on a Saturday. This place has it all. Ive seen Tyler on many salons but this is my favorite by far. Tyler is a great stylist who gives a-mazing cuts that people compliment even on days that you didnt style mm kay?

A friend of mine recommended Tyler for haircut. He has cut her hair for many years. The salon was located near 9:30 Club on Florida Ave (same block as Half Smoke). I made an appointment with him to redo my long bob (from another place and getting too long), he listened and delivered exactly what I wanted. He is amazing! I love my hair now it's easy to maintain and style.

Love this place. Everyone who works here is incredibly welcoming and super talented. I always dread haircuts (terrified of losing any of my long locks) but felt like Paige communicated well and gave me exactly what I was looking for. During my appointment a 4 year old girl came in to get one of her first haircuts and the hairdresser was so sweet with her it made me smile. They really know how to treat clients!
It is a bit expensive ($80 before tip for a women's cut), but i would expect to pay about that much at most nice salons in DC.

This place is a woodland oasis located on the best block of U street. Jayson's standard of perfection is apparent in every square inch of this salon space. If you think everything has been thought of let me just tell you that the hair washing station comes complete with full body massage chairs!
Charles has been doing my hair for over a year now and not only is his color perfection but his cuts and blow outs are as well! I highly recommend Charles for any hair needs.

This is a sophisticated salon, with excellent customer service. The decor is chic, modern and elegant down to the last detail. The shampoo chairs alone (they massage you while you are getting your hair washed) are worth a trip to this well appointed local. The stylist (Jayson) was also amazing not only with me, but more importantly with my four year old toddler. Really fabulous experience.

Needed a haircut so walked in to see about availability. It's a new salon, and the owner was kind enough to see me right away. I had a bit of a difficult cut I needed because of very damaged front pieces of my hair and longer, healthy pieces in the back. He was able to even everything out and for the first time in a year (since I damaged my hair with a bad keratin treatment - never again!) I actually have a haircut I love. This will definitely be my new go-to spot!
