My second review for Eugenius. Last one was a year ago. I texted Shawn the day after Christmas, during a snowstorm. Wi-Fi had been down since Christmas Eve with no sign of my power cycling expertise indicating the problem would be solved. Did he walk me thru every step with ease? Did he coach me on how to get my ISP to actually answer the question I asked them? Yes. Did he solve the problem? Yes. Did do some clean up router's software? Yes. You get the point. There's a reason EVERY SINGLE REVIEW is 5 stars for this Eugenius. You've found the answer to your IT issue.

If i could give 10 stars I would!!!! As an owner of a big business in the Seattle area I am very familiar with the customer service side of business. Shawn the owner was as good as it gets with customer service and attentiveness!! Shawn helped me out with my home network and after 6 month of trial and error with another company that went NO WHERE had me up and running in an hour. I was frantically emailing tech support companies to come to my home the next day when our home office router/wifi wouldn't work and my husband and I both needed to work the next day. Shawn was the first to respond to my inquiries (at 10pm on Sunday to boot!) and actually walked me through some suggestions via email. He was super responsive, knowledgeable, and helped me figure out what was going on and made suggestions to repair my issues ASAP. Highly recommend for his professionalism and responsiveness!

Eugenius succinctly and effectively solved our home networking issues that had been exacerbated by our new work-from-home routine. He was responsive, a pleasure to work with and professional. He remoted into our network, installed new firmware, tweaked all our settings to optimize for the tasks we're most frequently performing online, and made recommendations about hardware--all in the course of one efficient remote session. I wish there were 6 stars to award! Shawn from Eugenius was brilliant. Can't say enough good things here. What I can tell you is that I'm on a Mac and I'm now working remotely (in Seattle) for a company out of Texas. There servers are all Windows based and I needed to connect via a VPN from my iMac. Shawn from Eugenius is a Rockstar. Response when I sent a message on yelp was quick and clear with a follow up call the next day. We scheduled time for Shawn to come over and help get wired network setup in our family room and basement. Shawn was on time and did a great job getting us setup. We were not able to get the basement setup due to some wiring discrepancies and thought we had to get the basement rewired. Eugenius is a great choice if you're looking for a company that offers integrity, honesty, and highly-competent work. We worked with Shawn, who was friendly, punctual, and clearly has a very comprehensive understanding of the industry and what he's doing. We have a 40-unit apartment complex that was getting very shoddy connection in many units, despite paying for plenty of internet and a high-speed fiber connection. I needed help evaluating and improving my home wireless network, to improve connectivity throughout the house, and saw Shawn's great reviews on Yelp. His service was excellent and lived up to the reviews. It was easy to schedule an appointment and he arrived right on time. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and polite. Over the years, the tangle of wires behind my TV had grown, and I even had some wires coming up through the floor and around the baseboards. I asked for a quote from several companies, and most replied with just their hourly rate. But Shawn from Eugenius asked for my phone number so we could talk the situation over. I was having some issues getting good wifi/internet in my detached home office. I contacted Eu Genius in the evening and Shawn was over the next morning. It took longer than expected to work out the issues but Shawn stuck with it until the problem was resolved. He also didn't charge me the full corporate rate which I very much appreciated.
