Sunshine Shutter has been a family owned shutter manufacturing company, serving Sarasota and surrounding counties since 2005. Sunshine Shutter provides a wide range of plantation shutter designs customized to fit any interior window or door. Andrew Sr. is a Mechanical Engineering graduate and his wife Sandra is a Materials Science Engineering graduate from Michigan Technological University.
Andrew moved to Florida in 2006 and managed one of the largest commercial window and door Manufacturing Plants in Venice FL. The Fenton's have owned and operated Sunshine Shutter since 2018. We were very impressed with Sunshine Shutter compared with several other shutter companies we dealt with. The owner, Andrew Fenton, quoted the job, builds a solid product, offers a very competitive price point and personally completed the job with a clean and timely installation. Sunshine Shutter came very highly recommended through the Venice community FB page. Prompt, friendly and courteous service. His quote was more than fair. The time to make them and total install was only 3 weeks. He was very honest about what he could and couldn't do as far as other window treatments. We ask him to frame our garden , kitchen window and our sliders to the lanai. My husband and I love love love them. What difference the shutters and framing make in the house. Highly recommend!!! Fantastic experience

I have always wanted shutters and when we moved to a new home we decided to finally do it. We received a few quotes and decided to go with Sunshine Shutter. Andrew, the owner, came out to measure and give the quote. Within 3 weeks he came back to install the beautiful plantation shutters throughout the house. We couldn't be happier with the entire process from start through installation. Quality is fabulous and they come with a lifetime warranty. Huge bonus--buying from a local, small business which is a win, win! We highly recommend Sunshine Shutter--you won't be sorry!

Great experience from estimate to install. Local, small company right in Venice, Florida measures, manufactures and installs shutters. Cut out the middleman and worked directly with the owner, Andrew Fenton. Wow and it was quite a substantial savings. I love helping a local business instead of a big box store that manufactures elsewhere. Owner was able to offer suggestions other company's salespeople didn't even mention. Very happy and highly recommend Sunshine Shutters.

I had Sunshine Shutter install shutters to all my windows when we built in 2017. I failed to have the transom windows covered because I wanted the light, well, it caused the house to be too hot. Today Sunshine Shutter installed shutters over the transom windows and they look wonderful. They look like they were installed with the original shutters in 2017. I haven't had a bit of trouble with the shutters and Andrew and Company were a pleasure to work with. Thank you Sunshine Shutter!!

I can’t say enough good things about this company and specifically the owner Andrew Fenton. I was so fortunate to have a friend who recommended this company and the owner for the outstanding, quality blinds that his company makes. From beginning to end Andrew was prompt, efficient and made sure we were happy with the end result. He took his time and made sure that we were satisfied. This experience has been terrific from beginning .... Well we just began so I guess I can’t say “to end”. We are very excited to get our new shutters within less than a week after ordering. Impressed that they make the shutters themselves, and happy to be supporting a young business. Will be back when the process is finished and I can rave some more about Sunshine Shutters.
