Dr. Kira Gekht was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 19. They settled in Silvers Spring, Maryland. Just a few years later Dr. Gekht met her husband, Gennady. That's right. She moved thousands of miles to America and yet she somehow wound up marrying a guy from Moscow.

Dr Gekht is an expert and very warm. She is very practical and reassuring. Makes you feel safe. She is a mother and has a beautiful office. Carmen is mother Earth. She is warm intelligent highly grounded and really puts the patient as ease. Reign and Jewell are very helpful and accommodating very kind and fun to be with. Cori is also an expert. My teeth are in great hands!!! I shall be eating steak till I'm 100 thanks to her!!!!

I absolutely love this office. So professional and caring. Hannah is an excellent hygienist that takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with your teeth and explains everything she is doing while she is cleaning your teeth. She is also gentle. I would highly recommend this office and ask for Hannah if you are getting a cleaning. Dr. Kira is also great as well. I had a tooth emergency where my root canal failed. They saw me right away. Coming from California where health care is twice the price and less service. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Dr Kira took the time to address these issues in a comfortable, caring environment and then designed a custom plan based on my needs and budget. She then executed it to perfection. I'll start with a preface - I have an intense phobia of doctor offices and it stems over to dentistry as well. From the first phone call, Jewell was super nice and made me feel immediately comfortable and at ease. I had called a couple others prior and didn't get that same treatment, so I could tell right away that they seemed to care about their patients rather than run it as just a business. I went in for an introductory exam and from the moment I stepped into the office Reign and Jewell were both very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I was good. When I called they were able to see me the same day.
From the phone call to the moment I walked through the door the entire staff was professional, pleasant, and so accommodating.

Simply Smiles is simply the best! Everyone in the office is so friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Gekt is terrific - she is so personable and efficient. They have the latest technology and are so up to date on things. Definitely top notch. We are so happy to have found a dentist we really like. Can’t say enough good things about them.Definitely recommend.

I was in yesterday for my six month check up. I just wanted to drop a quick note telling readers how much I like this practice. Before finding Simply Smiles my family of five and I went to a another practice where we saw a different dentist or hygienist every time we went. I like that Simply smiles tries to keep individuals with the same personnel every time they visit. We're very happy with this dental office and the care that we receive. Ashley, my hygienist, did a fantastic job and checking out was the usual breeze with Jewell handling that aspect. I know going to the dentist isn't supposed

I’ve been having lots of pain in my mouth for awhile and I was putting it off. Finally couldn’t stand the pain and couldn’t eat. It’s so hard finding a good dental place you feel comfortable and people you trust to work on my mouth. Now I found Simply Smile and I’m sooo happy. I truly cannot give enough stars to Simply Smiles- and specifically Dr. Rivera, Cori, and Kris. I recently moved from the Boston area and came for a cleaning and also got my gold crown replaced. The office is BEAUTIFUL, immaculately clean, and has all of the most up to date technology.
