A membership is not required to workout with a personal trainer at Flex. All our personal trainers are independent-they each have their own style and technique of personal training. We offer a beginner's program, extreme weight loss program, strength and conditioning, core training, circuit training, sport-specific training, bodybuilding, and pre-competition training.

Services
Unlike the experience of training at a larger corporate gym, there is no "hard-sell" at FLEX. Memberships are not required - client progress, not profit, drives the business. FLEX removes all of the intimidation and pressure from the fitness experience. FLEX believes that fitness, above all else, is about improving the quality of your life.
Each session runs an hour in length. There is no membership fee, or any other fees. Unlike other gyms, you can pay as you go at FLEX-there is no big sign-up to get our special. Your training with us also includes a diet and cardio program-everything will be laid out for you. Generally our clients book 2 to 3 sessions a week to obtain their fitness goals.

Are you middle age (or pre-middle age) and in need of growing your vanity muscles. Be honest with yourself, you dont want to go to a gym and do crossfit. Those other geasers your age training for running a marathon, why? To go bouldering, climb a mountain? What's that going to do you. They're deluding themselves from the real fact they want bigger perkier pectorals and nice glutes (TandA). Ron and the staff are amazing. Went in there with a simple goal of losing weight. Down 50 lbs later I'm pushing it with Ron for more muscle mass and lower BF. These guys helped me change my life.
Make sure you make an appointment! It's not a regular gym where you can walk in and sign up. Great place great people.

I've been training at Flex for almost 5 years now, at least once a week. It's kind of become part of who I am.
I came in in 2014 as an injured runner who needed to mix things up and build some strength to reduce injury issues. I had a consult with Ron (the owner) after some googling, and he set me up with Katie. Katie is a great fit for me! And is great in general!

I had driven by this place for literally years before I took the plunge.
Ron, the owner, is an incredible trainer and the place is spotless (which is important for me in a gym setting).
Totally worth the money - I've been there for about 8 months and have been able to totally transform the way I look and feel. 🏋🏼♀️

This is a very long overdue review as I've been training at Flex with Katie several times a week for almost three years now. I don't really see any reason to stop anytime soon, only to recover after giving birth soon. First of all, I'll write about the gym itself. It's well equipped, and has everything a savvy trainer could ever need to whip someone into shape. Now this is not the place to be doing your cardiovascular exercise, like running on a treadmill or using the elliptical. Clients see an individual trainer who follows their goals and adapt exercise plans accordingly.

The trainers all work together to work in and make sure their clients hit their routines. The equipment is new, clean, and always in working order. You can tell that this is Ron's second home, and he keeps it in order personally.

Love this gym and the trainers. Great location and you can schedule your own hours.

Workouts are well thought out and you are guided through them in a professional manner.
My trainer is Eric, super laid back but he counts every rep every set!
I have seen great changes in my body since I started. I am trimmer, more muscular and energy level has gone way up.

These days, cross fit gyms and chain gyms are all over the place. Most of them have young, inexperienced trainers and lack one on one instruction with trainers. Lots of injuries and lack of results follow.
Flex is great. No judgement, no crowds, no obnoxious gym goers.. Just clients and their trainers getting results.
Ron, the owner, is an honest man and along with the trainers here, extremely knowledgable. You can pay by the session - you are not locked into or sold gym memberships or thousand dollar packages

I've been training at FLEX with Eric Perry for some time now. Eric listens to what my fitness goals are, and helps me achieve those goals through dedicated and well thought out training regiments.
Ron (the owner) is super friendly and welcoming. During my time training at FLEX, I've never felt judged or ridiculed. Everyone here seems like an extension of family.
The gym itself has everything you need to get a very solid workout in. Like other reviewers have said, even when the gym is super busy everyone works together to maximize each other's workouts.

I am so happy I invested in myself and that this gym is located in my neighborhood. After reading reviews I met with the owner and discussed my goals. I have been training with Kyle and am very glad to see improvements in my strength training. I strictly wanted to work on my form and lift to get stronger. Kyle has been flexible with my schedule for training times. The gym hours are convenient. Everyone at the gym is friendly and wants to help you succeed.

Initially, I wanted to work out with a trainer to correct my form (I kept aggravating an old shoulder injury after my solo workouts), but after I started seeing results, I decided to continue. 3 years later, I'm still working out twice a week there. The friendly (and motivational) atmosphere is a welcome break from the normal day-to-day workweek drudgery. It's conveniently located off the 12 and 11 bus lines and, on the rare occasion that I drive in, street parking is readily available.

I've been working out at Flex for about 4 months and I couldn't be happier with my progress. The trainers are all very friendly and knowledgeable.
I especially like that there's rarely more than 3 or 4 other people working out in the gym at the same time. Everyone is accompanied by their personal trainers. Parking is free and easy. Do it!

I've been coming here for a few months, and I have nothing to say but good things. While it's a little small initially, the trainers work around each other and there's never much of an issue in terms of waiting for space. It's always clean, well lit, and in a safe neighborhood.
I work with Kate, and she's quite literally a godsend. She's great at understanding your limitations without making you feel badly about not being in great shape at the beginning like me! She'll push you but also ensure that you have a great time as well. I'm always surprised at

My husband and I have been working with a trainer at this Flex gym for just over a year now. Twice a week. It's been GREAT! We are in our 60s and our trainer Scott has been just perfect for what we want. The space is excellent and clean and the equipment is varied. Scott keeps us going for a full hour. Our goals are to get stronger and work on balance. I wanted especially to work on my arms and upper body so I could put my suitcase in the overhead bin of an airplane all by myself. I can do it! It's great to see us both increasing our reps as well as the amount of weight we can work with. Scott

I've been coming here for months now and I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I really have nothing bad to say (other than the occasionally possessed treadmills!). When I started, I'd never really worked out with a personal trainer and had no idea to expect, but I was lucky to be matched up with Natalie. Not only did we turn out to have mutual friends, but she gives me a good workout & is able to keep me entertained the entire time. I'm able to work out when it works with my schedule and keep things fairly laid-back which I also appreciate as a busy person

I love this gym, I love Ron, and I really love my incredible trainer Bella Northrup (Fit BodyRx)! I could go on and on about this nice place and these great people, but let me tell you these three things:
1) I have been a steady size 10-12 for years and have never enjoyed strength training.* After seven weeks training with Bella (and that actually includes one week off for a vacation in Mexico), I bought my first ever size 8 jeans...and they're already loose. Must shop. Best problem EVER.
*(I really love going to strength training, now. Bella makes it super fun, which is crazy and

Ron and the team at Flex Training Gym are some of the best I have ever dealt with, I have been into every major corporate gym and several small training studios. The results you receive here are REAL and the knowledge gained is priceless. If you want a convenient location with a great atmosphere you owe it to yourself to get into Flex Training Gym.
