Midsubstance Achilles tendinopathy occurs at the watershed area of the tendon. This area has poor blood supply, which makes it a tough area to heal. A tight calf muscle can restrict range of motion, and initiate Achilles tendonitis. Insertional Achilles tendinopathy occurs where the tendon inserts into the back of the heel bone.
We provide conservative and surgical treatment options for all fractures, ankle sprains, lacerations, and tendon ruptures located in the ankle and foot. We offer urgent same-day and Saturday appointments to make sure you are taken care of. Most importantly, we'll be your support team as you rehabilitate back to your activities.
If you notice that your child has difficulty walking or keeping up with their peers during sports, they may be experiencing suboptimal foot and ankle mechanics. If children are evaluated and treated while their feet and ankles are still maturing, they can avoid more severe ailments in adulthood. Pediatric foot pain can be caused by a flatfoot deformity.
Occasionally, all conservative treatment fails, and we rely on surgical intervention to treat more complex foot and ankle deformities. Dr. Sekulic is Fellowship trained in Reconstructive surgery and provides patients with a comprehensive pre-operative evaluation. Bunions are deformities that are visible at the great toe joint.
An ingrown toenail stems from irregular nail plate growth from the nail matrix. This condition can be very painful. There will be redness and swelling around the ingrown nail. If the ingrown toenail is not treated, an infection can occur. Tight fitting shoes or micro trauma to the nail can cause an ingrown toenail to occur.

Dr. Sekulic is *fantastic*! I called her office on a Monday the week I was due to run an important marathon on Sunday. She fit me in the next day and pinpointed exactly what was causing some foot pain I had been having for over six months that threatened my marathon goals. After explaining the benefits and (small) risk, we agreed to a cortisone shot. That alleviated my pain almost immediately and my marathon went brilliantly. She also examined my calluses and shoes to see what about my foot strike pattern had caused the issue and gave me some things to work on going forward to prevent a recurrence

Visited today for plantar fasciitis pain that wouldn't go away. They took an xray so they could diagnose the problem and we determined an injection was the way to go. Dr. Sekulic and her assistant were so kind, helpful, professional, and patient with me as I made some decisions about treatment. Great doctor, great service. I got the injection and it didn't hurt as badly as people had told me it would! Big thanks to Dr. S and her assistant. I'm already feeling some relief tonight and look forward to getting back to playing pickleball, tennis, and hiking.

Wish I'd come here in the first place! After 5 months of pain and wasting time and money at PT and other doctors, Dr. Sekulic fixed my foot pain in one visit and 2 days later I did a 10 mile trail run pain-free. 3 weeks later I'm still feeling great and don't need metatarsal pads or insoles anymore! I was impressed with the friendliness and depth of knowledge of both Dr. Sikulic and her assistant Madeline. Only question/concern I had (after the 2 cortisone injections were given, because I forgot to ask beforehand) was were they injections given with guidance from an ultrasound machine?? I would've thought that that would be "best practice".

What a pleasant surprise it has been to come to Final Kick! They were highly recommended by family members and I was not disappointed! From the first time I went online I was able to “chat” with a live person who answered my questions about insurance among other things! Then when they called me back to schedule,(so I wasn’t on line with the lovely music or 10 gazillion menu choices) I was able to get in the very next day!

Dr Selina and her staff were extremely personable and professional. I have been to orthopedic specialists for the past 15 years and no one has been able to provide positive results in the first visit. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for more than four years and tried everything. I saw Dr. Hsu Kulik this morning and the experience was in lightning!
