YogaBasics.com was launched in late 2000 to provide an online resource for yoga. The website slowly grew over the years and is now an award-winning yoga resource center and complete. Yogabasics.com is a blossom picked from the heart. Founder, designer and writer Timothy Burgin skillfully wove together several of his life's passions - 19 years of yoga training, an education.
There are two unique components in yoga-the philosophy and the practice. These two create a powerful interplay, with each informing and refining the other, to forge a unity of body-mind-spirt. Both the practice and philosophy of yoga have a long history and a rich depth of knowledge and are both essential aspects to examine and investigate.
When you're brand new to yoga, it can feel intimidating and be difficult to know exactly where and how to get started.
