Mountain View Recovery Center (MVRC) is a Colorado State licensed extended care treatment program (PHP, IOP, OP) that provides group and individual counseling services. Mountain View Recovery Center specializes in treating chemical dependency coupled (substance abuse disorder) with other addictive and mental health disorders (co-occurring disorders), focusing on the underlying causal conditions that lead to the addictive behavior.
Residential substance abuse treatment programs in most cases treat disorders in and or around a full time, fully staffed licensed facility. These facilities generally have the ability to house 6 patients at a time and typically provide food, lodging, and round the clock medical care by licensed professionals.
For a long time, nature has been seen as a balm to the problems we face in society. Even during pre-industrial times people would seek out the countryside as a means to feel better. Many people have also used nature as a way to understand the world around them. Albert Einstein said, "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
A lot of people will experience trauma before or because of addiction. It's possible for addiction to deepen the effects of trauma that existed prior to addiction. In a study published by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the authors state that there is a clear link between trauma exposure and substance abuse.

Mountain View was there for me in my lowest point in my life! Paul returned a phone call and may have saved my life. The staff was amazing and helpful in every way. I went there thinking I was getting help to quit alcohol and got help with so much more. The therapy and skills that I received at Mountain View continue to help me to succeed at everyday life! I will forever be grateful for the decision to get help and in choosing Mountain View.

I cannot thank Mountain View Recovery enough for being patient with me throughout my recovery! All of the therapist engaged in my treatment plans and encouraged me throughout my time in treatment. There were moments where I felt like giving up but I was surrounded by staff members who were able to identify with me and uplift me! Paul, thank you for taking the time out to hear my wants, needs and always supporting me. Madelyn, thank you for always providing a safe and comforting environment for me to come and vent. I just completed a 60 day (30 PHP and 30 IOP) substance abuse treatment program with Mountain View Recovery and the entire program was incredible. I've been in other treatment centers including Hazelden twice and several others around the country and this was, by far, the best. I believe it was a combination of the quality of the program and my willingness to engage.
The biggest difference was the fact that everyone there truly cared about my recovery and went above and beyond to ensure my recovery was addressed. This started with the owner and went thru every level of the organization.

Paul Covelli saved my daughter's life --- Paul -- and his staff at Mountain View Recovery Center returned my daughter to me and to life. At the beginning of my daughter's five months at Mountain View, she truly didn't believe in much: she didn't believe in herself, in the possibility of being sober, in the immense potential for her future, in joy or hope or contentment. Those concepts were unfathomable to her. She couldn't find a reason to strive for the life she deserved UNTIL Paul helped her realize she was worth it. He convinced her of her worth -- her purpose -- her value in this world. How

The Staff at Mountain View are the driving force that separates this treatment program from all the rest. Their belief system is that clients respond positively when they are treated with respect and nurtured as family. I’ve seen firsthand that when clients arrive broken in all ways (physically, spiritually, and emotionally), they are embraced… with love and slowly begin their journey toward self-worth, self-love, self-respect and RECOVERY! Their treatment model needs to be copied in programs all over the country and then perhaps we can all start to heal as a society. My son is a different

Mountain View Recovery Center is a beautiful facility. Speaking from personal experience as a client Paul Covelli and Miya Stafford go above and beyond to personally ensure every single person in their care feels loved, welcomed, and safe. They are properly experienced and educated in terms of the recovery community and in my own personal experience did trust them with my life and wouldn’t be nearly as far as I am today. Two of the most wonderful people that I have been blessed with the opportunity to learn and grow from on my journey.

Miya and Paul are two of the most loving and caring people that I know. It is because of their love, compassion, and guidance that I will be celebrating 2 years of sobriety. I could not have done it without them. They are so knowledgeable, and speak from the heart and from experience. They go out of their way to make you feel loved, welcomed and most importantly safe which is something I had not felt in a long time. I am forever grateful.

Mountain View Recovery Center is a wonderful place to seek treatment for substance abuse disorder. They genuinely care about helping people struggling with substance abuse. Out of the 20+ rehabs my daughter… attended they’ve by far done the most to help her succeed. I truly believe she wouldn’t be alive today without Paul & Miya’s unwavering guidance, care & support. Forever grateful for them & so many will now benefit from their help & guidance in Colorado! I highly recommend them. Ronda Loon
