Living Reiki provides training for all levels of Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki. We also offer classes featuring therapeutic-grade essential oils, sound healing, and drumming. Reiki integrates with all other healing methods to speed up the return to a whole and healthy state of being and balance in body, mind, and spirit.

Services
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be described as "compassionate action." Karuna Reiki is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering.
NOTE: Registration is complete when payment is made for this training 7 days prior to start of class. Exceptions will be noted in the class descriptions. If you don't know anything about Reiki, come and experience the gentle healing energy; and if you are considering taking a Reiki class, you will be able to meet the instructor first.
Jerry Tamburino has been a drummer for many years. He was born to drum - his name, Tamburino, literally means "little drummer" in Italian. Originally from New Jersey, he has lived and drummed in Pennsylvania, New York City, Virginia, and Oklahoma. He worked for many years helping people with disabilities to lead normal, productive lives in their community.
Remote or distance healing sessions are available & payment may be made at the time of booking your session. In-person sessions will be available in December. The first Reiki session one receives is usually very relaxing and peaceful. The client is fully clothed as the practitioner does Reiki, holding his/her hands directly on or a few inches above the client's body.
Marion Hakata, Reiki Master, CHMT, CAMTC #28173, Owner of Living Reiki, is a Reiki Master and teacher of the Usui Method of Natural Healing and a registered Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, International Center of Reiki Training (ICRT). She is also a Certified Holistic Massage Practitioner, Massage Therapist Instructor at Fair Oaks Massage Institute and a Minister of Holistic Healing.

I was blessed to learned Reike through Marion. I can't praise enough how thorough she is. I have taken Reike I through another teacher & she doesn't even compare to Marion's way of teaching & what you learn in class. The attunement process was just beautiful & felt so sacred. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I live in Germany but heard some great things a out her so I took my second level with her. I feel so honored. I can't recommend her enough!

Marion is compassionate, generous, and an incredibly gifted healer. I initially booked her for two private sessions to work on a specific issue, and was so impressed by the impact of each session that I've continued working with her every other week. I've uncovered a lot of repressed emotional trauma that was affecting my sleep, dreams, and day to day life. The first term that comes to mind when I think of Marion is unconditional love; and with it comes generosity, wisdom, inspiration and peace. I have lived a nomadic life and there have been times I expressed sadness to my loved ones around not owning a home, and these people I shared with have often responded, "Home is where the heart is". The experiences I have had with Living Reiki help me feel that statement inside, and that is a wonderful thing to be able to take away from practicing with Marion. After hearing about Reiki I decided to look into in and take the initial training. I looked here in Sacramento and even as far as San Francisco. I called around because hearing a person gives me an important impression on who that potential teacher is. Marion was warm and put me at ease immediately. I took her training and enjoyed it so much I decided to continue studying Reiki with her. Marion is one of those really sweet people who shares her knowledge in a kindly non-egotistical way.
