Tent Campers: Your pets cannot be left unattended. If you're going out for the day take Fido with you - he'll love it. If you cannot take your best friend with you, please make arrangements for someone to care for him/her in your absence. All Campers: Pets are never to be left tied out or in a crate while you are not in the campground.
Helton Creek Falls Trail follows Helton Creek to two waterfalls. The total vertical drop is more than 100' and the rocks are deceptively slippery around these falls. Dukes Creek Trail winds its way into Dukes Creek Gorge where it dead ends across from the 300' Dukes Creek Falls. The area offers scenic beauty and great gold panning opportunities!

This was a beautiful campsite with several great hiking trails within a short drive. I camped over Labor Day weekend and the staff was incredibly friendly and responsive. Firewood was also very reasonably priced, and they had it ready at the campsite when I arrived. I would highly recommend Long Ridge Campground for anyone looking for a great weekend in the North Georgia mountains.

Long Ridge Campground was a wonderful place to enjoy the great outdoors. The Camp Host, Doug & Cindy where wonderful as well as the owners. The bathhouse was clean, clean and more clean! We had 3 RV sites together 8,9&10. We put up tents and had access to water and power. The campground is small (which I prefer) and very quite. Dog friendly, people friendly and just a perfect spot for a restful fun filled 5 days! Its wonderful that your can buy firewood on site.
Lake Chatuge is just a beautiful place - mountains everywhere :)
We will be back soon!

I found out this place for my first truck tent camping with my wife. This camp was not big but very well managed with warm guidance for visitors. Electric and water connection was good and bath restroom was so clean and shower booth water gave hot and cool temp by nice control. Cindy who gave us welcome in the office was lovely kind person during our one night stay there. I will be there soon again and enjoy more time and fun. Thanks, Cindy~~

The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. They shared brochures with us when we checked in ( local attractions, dining, Georgia Mountain Fair, hiking, etc). The campsites and restrooms were well maintained by Doug. He even stopped by our campsite several times, during our stay, to see if we needed anything. The campground is very quiet with a beautiful fishing pond. We enjoyed our stay at the Long Ridge Campground.
