Services
There is no specific date you should start up your sprinkler system, it just depends on the weather. In Wichita, late March to early May is a common time to turn lawn sprinklers back on for the summer. As long as the ground is thawed and temperatures aren't below freezing, it's safe. If we find any problems with your sprinkler system, we'll show you the issue and provide a free estimate for repair.
Reddi Irrigation offers sprinkler system winterization (shutdown) in the Wichita and Kansas area. Typically you should schedule sprinkler winterization in the fall before the cold weather arrives. In Wichita, sprinkler systems using city water should be winterized in October or early November, and systems that use well water can often wait until mid-November.
Backflow testing and certification for Wichita, Bel Aire, Andover and Goddard water service. Backflow preventers ensure that water flowing from the city water supply moves in only one direction, into your home, and never in reverse. These devices create a one-way gate to stop backflow. This one-way flow of water is is important to ensure that the city water supply does not get contaminated in the event of plumbing issues at a home or business.

Reddi was super responsive after putting in a request for winterization (great website, easy to navigate). First time customer. They quickly texted me in a friendly manner and made scheduling very easy and convenient. Jerry arrived within the decided upon time slot even on a rainy, cold day. He was friendly, quick and courteous. He identified a leak while winterizing the system and made note to fix next spring. Highly recommend and looking forward to working with them again. Had winterization done today by Dean. He's exceptional at listening to any concerns and providing solutions while keeping costs down. I always request Dean do the sprinkler opening and closing because I know it is done correctly. I do wish the scheduling department was a little better organized and responsive. They are all very friendly but it's sometimes difficult to schedule something on your first phone call.

I called about a couple broken sprinklers and Reddi had someone out the same morning to address the issue. Timothy arrived with his trainee and listened to my description (Im new to sprinkler systems) of the two problem spots. He went through all the zones to inspect every sprinker and was able to make adjustments and improvements to about four other spots, as well.

After we received an outrageously high water bill we called Reddi, suspicious that we had a serious leak somewhere in our irrigation system. Dean came highly recommended to us so we asked for Dean’s help in investigating the problem. Not only was he able to detect and repair the leak, he fixed a couple of other items with our irrigation system that weren’t working properly.

Dean Nestor with Reddi irrigation came for my initial estimate and was extremely knowledgable and took the time to listen to my concerns and very professional. He then came and did our sprinkler startup. He got all our zones in tip top shape and replaced 16 rotors in a timely fashion. He was in constant communication with us from start to finish!
