Therefore, you'll have more power and choice in your process. Once you know and understand all your options and how they will affect you, the best solutions for your situation will be clear.
Divorce does not have to be conducted through an adversarial, win/lose process, where a judge makes decisions for you. If you work together on the decisions, you can start and end the process with as much control over your case as possible. Even with the best intentions, the separation of family ties, assets and possessions is difficult.
Mediation is a process when a neutral person, a mediator, facilitates communication and negotiation to help two parties reach a voluntary agreement regarding their dispute. As a mediator, I use my experience to offer support in creative, practical, and financial problem solving to arrive at a mutually supportive final agreement.

My consultation at Keith Law and Mediation exceeded my expectations. Adrienne requested and reviewed documents prior to our consultation, she provided timely and concise feedback regarding which documents would prove useful, prior to the appointment. Scheduling was flexible and I was seen on time. The consultation time was well-used to review the issue, answer questions, explain procedure, and provide insight into issues I had not considered (but should have). I had the pleasure of working with Adrienne Keith twice over the past 5 years. Most recently she representing me in a child support adjustment. The opposing party was very difficult to work with, but Adrienne was always the voice of reason. She had great information and advice and was able to lead me through the process even when I was very upset and angry. Adrienne is smart, professional, and always in her client's corner. Extremely professional and competent attorney that can guide you through the process of mediation and communicate expectations clearly. In my case Adrienne determined that the best path for resolution for me was to work with another attorney that had a specific skill set that matched my unique situation. Hopefully you can reach agreement through mediation, and I believe Adrienne is an incredible counsel to have for that process. But she will also adapt to the situation and keep your best interest first, even if that means referring you to a college.

Adrienne was a fantastic resource for my wife and I during our divorce. I really liked how she was able to answer any questions either of us had during the process, and how meticulous she was in regards to details. She was really understanding and patient in the beginning when we were not sure what we wanted to do, and were just trying to understand our options.

Though most people don't ever hope for a divorce, those who go through them hope for a good one. And one way to have a good one is of course to have a great lawyer, but perhaps also to think about the process as a way to come to mutual agreements about moving forward, as opposed to a battle of separate interests.
