I slept on this grocery store for too long! I live about a mile away and only had been 1 time to grab something. Been going back since. The sandwiches they make are awesome! The California Panini was really good, and its big enough to share. I love the fact that they have a salad bar, its been my go to a few times a week now. Every time I go I discover something new and we're going to go back for the ribs this week. The little bakery section has awesome desserts too. Glad to write a good review for them, the staff is all very friendly. Nice local grocery store.

I called store yesterday; asked the lady how many hours in advance I can order a cake, she told me 24 hours. I told her I will need on 12/24 because it’s my husband birthday. Its fine! What a surprise I was early 7:30 am today and she said NO, it must be 48 hours, I told her I called previously(yesterday) & they told me “24 hours” said, No, No, and No. how is posible if I called in advance?; so I have to leave because I start to work at 8 am. This is made me upset & sad; I always shopping there and order cakes and now it’s just NO. I think this not fair and when customer call they must

Our favorite Mom and Pop shop!
The customer service is exceptional. Avoid their bakery - everything I've had from them is amazing... my waist line would be much smaller had I not know about their donuts and cake.
Their deli is also Devine! On the days where we don't feel like cooking dinner we can stop here and snag dinner for two for under $10.

This is an excellent neighborhood grocery store! Fantastic selection of both basic and specialty items. Great produce, extensive bakery, and a solid prepared food counter.
It's right around the corner from cowle's, so if you're looking for a snack to take up to the top or a quick nosh once you get down, it's worth the stop.

Keils is one of the take over brands for the empty store in the area . Over the years a great store for small portions / retired people meat / fish .Super clean all the time the produce area is especially clean . Fair amount of ethnic food and ingredients. We are close so handy for a quick one item trip. They show open late but by 8pm they pretty much thinking of shutting down ,bang a cart around someone will help you , super helpful in years to come .

Moved here recently and went to this store to buy a few sweets. Had a really bad aftertaste like it was expired… went a second time and bought apple juice. Same thing it tasted spoiled… not sure if food is being handled correctly there. I’m not the type to go over there to complain… I can’t change lazy workers. But I won’t be returning.

This grocery shop had an incredible variety of items that are at the best prices. We came here without any intention to buy anything but left with three bags. The market is well arranged, and it's well equipped for practicality anything. They also have a small eatery in a shop that has delicious food ready to eat there or take away. Worth a visit!

I was visiting some friends in San Diego and stopped in here to get a few basics. It's such a cool little grocery store! They had everything I needed for a reasonable price, and I loved how clean and painstakingly organized it was. I also happened to look through the card racks and found the absolute perfect birthday card for my friend. The next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in again!

I LOVE KEILS! We like to support local businesses it's important to my entire family! Keil's will almost always have whatever you need for a recipe. If they don't have it they will try to get it for you. I love the deli! Best Sandwiches, they don't skimp on anything. Also their meat department rocks! Handmade sausages and other yummy things! The produce department is always stocked! They carry vegan supplies too! The employees are super friendly! And all the managers too! You won't feel like just another number at Keils, you'll feel like a neighborhood friend!

They try, and are seemingly nice people, but this store seems stuck in the 90's and caters almost exclusively to tastes most commonly closely associated with older generations.
Everything is processed and mainstream, so if you're looking for a local Vons with a slightly better bakery and 10 choices of the same thing, instead of 20, and less variety of options just in general, this may be a solid choice.

Long over due. The staff is not friendly at all. Very selective who they even greet at the check out. The cashiers act like you're bothering them and they're doing you favor. Just with me though. They said hello and had chats with all people in front of me except me. Just a silent transaction for me... happened at least on 3 different occasions. Get off your high horse and do your job. Asshats. Disgrace of a customer service. Won't be back and won't recommend.

If you hate the bad parking situation at Trader Joe's and the rude employees at other grocery stores Keil's is the store for you. I am often impressed by how friendly the staff at Keil's is and how there is an feeling of calm in the store despite the covid nightmare that is going on around us (some how there isn't a feeling of chaos at Keil's unlike at other stores right now). Most impressively, I had a price issue this week and the manager was very responsible, polite and apologetic. They also have a lot of gluten free and vegan options

Keels has a big variety of Fresh vegetables.
They also have a fantastic bakery. And the people there are always willing to help you. I got birthday cards here for my mom and my best friend. Also you can buy fresh flowers right behind the birthday cards. They also have a salad bar. You can choose from anything you can dream of here.

I've stopped by here several times to pick a melee of items. I hit up the produce department for avocados, tomatoes, garlic, potatoes, pita breads, and an occasional flat bread. I hear there deli and service counter is pretty good so I plan to check it soon. All the hot and prepared always looks very good. Their produce department is usually pretty well stocked. Everything is always stacked in nice rows and towers.

I am editing this review for the third time based on changes at the store and new experiences.
We've been shopping at Keil's nearly twenty years, and in that time they have done a lot to make store look better and to add to the variety of foods they carry. The new Manager, Ed is a very nice guy who listens to customers and has helped me on several occasions. For a while the situation was not good there, but he seems to have things under control.

Amazing selection and quality! Very clean and staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Huge parking lot. The store feels small yet they have a great selection of beer, produce, baked goods, condiments, and I don't even remember what else. We walked every aisle and I was just impressed again and again. The one thing lacking that I noticed was the number of meats available at the deli. Service was prompt and fast though, which is better than most places.
