The "C" word - we try not to use it. It evokes unsavory images of ice sculpture swans, stiff polyester table linens, and the early 90s-esque tuna tartar in a cucumber cup. We are the NEW SCHOOL. We approach each event INDIVIDUALLY - whether an intimate gathering of 6 or 200 people with a fresh take on menu offerings - keeping the budget, mood, and season into consideration.

Soflo Chefs helped put together a wonderful and memorable evening for my wife's surprise birthday. They cooked up a delicious meal that included lamb chops, butternut squash risotto, red snapper, seasonal salads, lava cake and more.
Eddie and Stephanie were our chefs. Eddie whipped up some phenomenal old fashions (wife's favorite drink) and helped set up the whole backyard. Stephanie cooked up a feast that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Their customer service is top notch and I didn't have to worry about a thing the whole night. Great experience!

Chef Norma, Steph and Eddie were absolutely amazing! We had a party of 30 people and not only it was more then enough food but the quality the best! Every single item on the menu was exquisite! But the best part was the service. Definitely hiring them for the next events!!!

My experience with Soflo chefs was out of this world! The staff are very professional, friendly, and timely. We booked them for a bachelorette party and ordered the 6 passed apps and cocktails package. Chef Stephanie and Norma did a great job at curating the cocktails and tailoring them to what we liked. All of the food was outstanding and we had plenty of leftovers to keep snacking on through out the weekend. I would book again in a heartbeat if I'm ever in Fort Lauderdale, thank you Soflo Chefs for making my bachelorette party so special!

We were in Fort Lauderdale for a bachelorette and we wanted to do a private dinner at our rental house. We decided to hire SoFlo Chefs and they were amazing!! David was our contact through the day of the dinner. He was responsive, a great communicator and allowed us to mix and match items from all four menus. Norma was our chef the night of the dinner - she was AMAZING! She was so sweet and made us all feel so comfortable. The food was EXCELLENT and she timed the meal perfectly. We were in a rental house with a wonky kitchen and she performed magic with such ease. I would highly recommend using

Stephanie and Chef David are incredible. I travel a great deal and I have eaten at some incredible places, there food, professionalism and service blew me away. I can't give a better recommendation and we used the for a party of 13, 2 brunches and essentially a 7 course dinner. Your taste buds will just say wow.

WOW! What an incredible experience Soflo Chefs provided for my and my family celebrating a 30th birthday. Communication was so easy and professional and they made it a priority to make sure the night was special. We were delighted to to eat Chef Norma’s fantastic dinner, the best dinner we had during our vacation by far. She was truly wonderful. Couldn’t recommend this service more. It gives me such tremendous pleasure to provide a 10-star review for this company. Although I had no experience or knowledge of SoFlo catering prior to my son's wedding, after meeting Chef David and Stephanie, I was completely comforted and excited to welcome them and their team into my home for one of the most fabulous catered events I have ever had the privilege of hosting. The food was spectacular, the team was amazing, courteous, professional... Amazing. I've never witnessed such a well-organized performance and yet it was delicious and everyone raved about the entire experience.

Chef David was great! Very personable, polite and courteous. Prepared an excellent and delicious meal. Right on time, was here for a couple of hours, set up our dinner plates, washed his equipment and waited for us to get started eating to make sure everything was prepared correctly. Chef David prepared an appetizer of Maryland crab cakes, a wedge salad, both made with homemade sauce and blue cheese dressing, Ribeye steaks on the grill to our liking, roasted potatoes, asparagus and a strawberry cheesecake for desert. We worked with Chef David to schedule a private dinner for large group in Miami for a Friday night dinner. Chef David helped us mix and match a menu that suited a variety of dietary restrictions in our group, and was extremely amenable to special requests or pricing restrictions that we had in mind. Chef Norma cooked exquisitely, and was extremely flexible with the amount of cookware available in our AirBnB. The presentation of the food was just as gorgeous, as the food was delicious. David at Soflo Chefs came and cooked dinner for 10 of us ladies on a bachelorette weekend. We chose it as our night to lay low, and we all came to the table from the pool and sat down to a fabulous meal. There was zero prep required: in the kitchen or on hair and makeup. ;) Best. Decision. Ever.
Leading up to the weekend, David was a great communicator: his business is run seamlessly, and it was a cinch planning out a menu with him. He let us tweak here and there, honored vegetarian and dessert requests, and even adjusted to fit within our budget.

David provided a first class dining experience for my brother's bachelor party! He arrived right on time, got everything all set up, and was just a really friendly guy. All of the food was incredibly delicious - crab cakes, burrata salad, grilled octopus, tomahawk steaks, flank steak with chimichurri, and chicken piccata. Not to mention some delicious desserts: the French toast was out of this world. Having dinner catered by David was a fantastic experience - highly recommend hiring David and the team!

How should I begin? Bite sized crab cakes that melt in your mouth? chicken and waffles elevated to fine cuisine? Drizzles, sauces and presentation that rivals and surpasses anything you've seen for thrice the price ? That's David. Punctual, professional... this guy is no diva. He leaves your kitchen in better shape than he found it, and that's after cooking for 45 people! His staff is accommodating and so very gracious. Two weeks after my event, I am still getting rave reviews from my friends. Feel free to use me as a reference.

We hired Chef David for my sister's Bachelorette party and it was the highlight of the weekend! David came to our airbnb and prepared everything as we slowly recovered from our day out on the boat! I contacted at least 10 different chefs prior to chef David. David was the only person that I spoke with that was flexible and willing to find ways to appeal to all dietary restrictions and work still within our price range. Working with Chef David and team was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I am from los angeles and booking remotely which caused hesitation on my end however, the communication and customer service were second to none. Chef David and staff showed up promptly and delivered more than I expected. The flavors were amazing and the menu was exactly what I requested. I could NOT have been happier. I hired Chef David for a romantic anniversary dinner. What I expected was a simple 5 course meal, but what I received was a professional service. Each plate was created with patience and attention to detail that I never imagined.

I hired David for a private birthday dinner at home based on his quick and detailed response to my initial inquiry, efficient menu proposal and reasonable charge. He showed up on time and prepared amazing multi course meal for us and his co-chef and they served us restaurant style and cleaned everything afterwards. He had some left overs of fresh fish we discovered in the fridge the next day and enjoyed that with our cooked leftovers! Definitely recommend his great comprehensive services!

My girlfriends and I hired Chef David and his team while in Miami for my bachelorette. From the minute I reached out to him via yelp, he was professional, prompt, courteous and answered all my questions right away. They arrived to our Airbnb right on time. Eddie started making us incredible mojitos. While we had cocktails and laughed together, the rest of the team were hard at work making us our dinner. And they set up our dinner table beautifully! I hired Chef David for my bridal shower and I'm so happy I did! From beginning to end his professionalism and attention to detail was way more than I could've anticipated. I hired him for the food but my guests and I received an experience. His food was was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! and he even provided personalized menu cards. I would not only recommend him to everybody I know for any event...but I will also be using him for my upcoming wedding!
