Provision Eyecare is a family-owned and operated eye clinic with a focus on vision and overall well-being. We serve patients of all ages for the lifetime care of their eyes. That's right, we're in it for the long haul! Dr. Daniel Jackson, OD, is no stranger to the Omaha community. Since graduating from optometry school in 1987, he has been here working in family-based practices, helping patients of all ages with their eye care needs.
Over the years, he has developed multiple areas of expertise, including speciality contact lens fittings, pre- and post-operative care, and disease management. His lifelong approach to eye care gives him the ability to better care for his patients and their health as a whole.

For Dr. Jackson, a routine eye exam isn't about checking items off of a list, it's an opportunity for him learn about his patients and assess your unique eye care needs. Your eyes serve as the window to your overall health, with the ability to reveal more than 30 concerning health conditions. In fact, it is possible that optometrists can detect diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol earlier than your general doctor can detect it.

Kindness is an understatement when describing this place. My son was quite nervous in getting his eyes checked and Dr. Jackson was so wonderful and patient with him. His bedside manner was something to be positively shared with anyone. Sarah was simply wonderful and showed great joy in helping my son pick out his new glasses. From making the appointment, to the visit and even the goodbye we felt important. I am happy to say we are now a part of the Provision Eyecare family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Provision Eyecare. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. You can tell they really care and are passionate about helping people. The whole process from filling out forms to eye exam to picking out glasses was extremely smooth. And I found a pair of glasses that perfectly fit what I was looking for. Haven't been to the Eye Dr in a while, I can sometimes procrastinate going. Have Seen Dr Jackson prior when he was at another location.
Upon arrival I was greeted and had some time to look over glasses before my eye exam.
The exam went well, I didn't feel rushed, and he explained what he was seeing.
The picking out of glasses was great too, they knew what I was interested in and what my budget was and really worked with me to make sure I was satisfied. I am getting 2 pairs of glasses, 1 for work, and 1 for everyday use, at an excellent overall price within my VSP and budget.

If I could, I'd give this place a 10/5, it was perfect! I had a wonderful experience with the Dr. Here. He was thorough in his exam and made me feel like I wasn't rushed in offering me time to ask questions. He was absolutely wonderful and I never want to go anywhere else for my eye care! I was also very pleased with the freindly staff there, they were all very pleasant to work with and very informative and willing to help with questions I had regarding insurance. I would recommend going here to anyone!

I've been with Dr. Jackson for 10 years. I don't trust anyone else with my eyes. He has just opened this new store with state of the art equipment. Conducts a thorough exam. You can tell he loves his job. I'm a difficult patient, very particular. And so is he (particular, that is). I was pleasantly surprised at the selection and reasonable price of glasses.
