Indianapolis is home base for Helen Wells Agency, where it was founded in 1980. Lisa Blancato, HWA's president, leads all agency operations from Indy, where we film large auditions, handle bookings, perform all admin and executive functions and sponsor extensive training opportunities.
Our local actors, models and trade show reps from the area easily work in markets from Louisville and Cincinnati to the south as far as Grand Rapids (MI), Chicago, and Fort Wayne (IN) to the north, and Columbus (OH) and St. Louis to the east and west.

Helen Wells' Louisville office is a vibrant and active talent agency providing skilled actors and models to clients in Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and as far as Atlanta and St. Louis. Beth Hall, our leader at HWA Louisville, is a skilled acting coach with deep connections in TV & Film.
After 30+ years of work with Cincinnati clients, we opened our Cincinnati office and studio in early 2019. From a beautiful office and studio in the OTR section of downtown Cincinnati, HWA has built a significant roster of actors, models and brand ambassadors to meet the needs of Cincinnati's world-renowned marketing/advertising community.
HWA opened its newest location in Columbus, OH in mid-2019 to provide better serve the needs of actors, models and our clients in the region. Ali Ferda leads our initiative in Columbus, where our studio allows us to provide talent and manage auditions for casting directors and marketing/advertising professionals in the region.
Our Indianpolis headquarters is located in the heart of downtown Indy, just across from University Park, three blocks north of the Circle and a block off Mass Ave. HWA Cincinnati is ideally located downtown, in Over-The-Rhine (OTR) at the corner of 12th and Race. Overlooking Washington Park, Music Hall and other key performing arts landmarks.

At first I was skeptical based on some of the reviews I've read on here as well as horrible experiences I've had in the past with other talent agencies. I wanted to be very careful not to be taken advantage of and to partner with an agency I could trust. After speaking to a few people who work with Helen Wells first hand, I decided to go ahead and submit an online application and I'm glad I did. I am currently signed with Helen Wells, have been for a few months now and I have to say that they are very straight with you from the beginning about what they expect from their talent and what they have

I love the Helen Wells Agency! They are friendly and professional. They work hard to get their talent work. They don't charge any upfront fees or make you pay a website fee. They work to get you working, as a true agency should. There are so many scams out there, but I can confidently say, the Helen Wells Agency is NOT one of them. They're an agency that you can trust! High recommend the Helen Wells Agency.

My daughter and I both have been signed with Helen Wells for almost a year now. Everyone at this agency is so friendly and eager to help all of the talent in anyway they can. They tell you from the start that one or two jobs a year are average. This helps to not get hopes up and it is the reality of the business that you may not get any jobs but audition for several. Within six months of being signed I completed two jobs and feel as though I was prepared and supported. Communication is big for any job and I feel as though they have done such a wonderful job with that. I have gotten responses back

I have recently begun working with Helen Wells in Columbus, OH and so far I have been very impressed. From the beginning everyone that I have been in contact with has been friendly and super informative. As someone who has been away from the industry for almost 10 years, they have helped me get my foot back in the door. Lori and Ali are always very encouraging and auditions have been frequent! I have been with the Helen Wells Agency for over 10 years. They are the most professional in the business, while also being friendly and courteous. They do not charge fees upfront, just ask that your pictures are taken by someone on their preferred list, so your photos are professionally done and you can book work. Each individual photographer has hair and make up artists they like to work with and can provide you with their info if you decide you need one. The agency can not accept everyone, if you are not accepted, keep on trying at other agencies, it is nothing personal and this business is
