Services
Our dream was to provide excellent nursing care, in a "home-like atmosphere for the aged." We pledge that patient care will be our first concern and will have priority over all other considerations. We pledge never to expand for the sake of expansion itself, and that it will only be done in an orderly fashion, and without sacrificing quality of patient care.
Our staff at Sunny View understands that a team approach towards patient care isd the best way to maximize our residents quality of life. Sunny View's Dietary Service Department strives to prepare attractive, well-balanced and varied meals in accordance with the special nutritional needs of our Residents.
Delivery of mail is a routine daily service. Packages, magazines, and periodicals are delivered as received by the facility. A subscription for the daily newspaper can be arranged through the office. The newspaper distributor will bill the responsible person directly. Residents are free to send and receive mail.
At Sunny View Nursing Home, we believe that quality of life is every bit as important as the quality of care. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities specifically designed to give a feeling of success, and in turn, to maintain their social, perceptual, and physical skills by providing a fun, understanding, loving & caring atmosphere.

I couldn't speak more highly about Sunnyview. I had the most healing, recuperative stay. I met the owners, nurses, CNAs, kitchen staff, dining room staff, PT and OT and other staff members. I thank them all for their caring work on my behalf. I recommend Sunnyview to everyone I talk to that may need a nursing / rehabilitation home for themselves and loved ones.

Mary the owner is money hungry and could care less about the families she serves. We pulled our mother from this facility after noticing how rude certain CNA’s are and how unclean certain areas of the property were. Take your money elsewhere! Your loved ones life is going to be in the care of these people. Please, please do yourself research so many other facilities out there.

I know the staff and owners here....none are rude. maybe its the "me and my family member are most important" attitudes that is very common among residents family members. and just an FYI...residents are ALLOWED to be alone..in the hall, their rooms, lunch rooms. the cnas do not have to crowd them or follow them unless they are a fall risk or a risk to someone else. they are not dogs on a leash. they are still people. they can still be independant when it is possible.

Sunny View, you have an amazing, caring staff from bottom to top. During our dad's 6 week stay our family saw and experienced professionalism, kindness, compassion, dedication, love and encouragement. He recovered enough to go into Brentwood by the Bay Assisted Living. We want to publicly say 'Thank You to all of you!'.

My 96 year old mom spent a week at Sunny View after a hospital stay to recover from a fall. We are so grateful to have found this wonderful place. The owners are caring and very hands on, and they checked in on our mom several times during her stay to make sure everything was going well. Every single person on the staff was great, quick to respond, always friendly, and they genuinely care about their patients. The atmosphere was cheerful and felt very much like a family. Very good food and we we were impressed with how clean and fresh everything was all the time. We would definitely hope to find

I needed a nursing home for my mom( who is 101 years young) for a short period of time until I could get home services. Sunny View was one of the places that called. It’s near my home and it’s a small family owned place. Mom ended up staying just about a month or so. I visited my mom everyday and the staff was so kind and attentive and always willing to make changes to accommodate either mine or my mom’s wishes and needs. Clean, comfortable, great care! Loved it and mom really enjoyed her stay.

If I could rate this facility as a negative i would. My mom was brought here for rehab. After asking a CNA for assistance the CNA said she'd be back with help. An hour passed by the time I visited without assistance. I went to the nursing station to inform the RN. The same CNA was talking with the RN. This was for a simple boost in bed! In the 2 days she's been there, I've witnessed PPE infractions, cna 's leaning against the wall while a resident is sitting alone bin the hallway. After discussing my concerns with the director Mary, she said she was going to transfer my mother today and it's her

The Director of Nursings daughter is an LPN (employed by the facility) with 5 months experience under her belt. She is responsible to care for 30 residents and has no idea what she’s doing. Her lack of experience shows as she calls her MOM Mary Miga for every problem that arises. She calls her Mom before she calls the Dr. which shows her lack of confidence. What would she do if she didn’t work for Mommy? Horrible experience with Paige LPN and Sabrina Miranda CNA both on 2nd shift. Stay clear of this place, your loved ones life is in their hands and that’s a scary thought!
