Stanley Yantis, MD
I treat adults with a variety of emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, and career issues. We will utilize medication, if indicated, along with a variety of psychotherapeutic techniques. I enjoy working with people at all stages of life, and have a special interest in helping Millennials deal with their unique challenges.

Our goal is to assist in enhancing your ability to experience the present moment more positively and fully. I view treatment as a collaboration, a form of teamwork! Together, we can help you attain a higher level of satisfaction, self-awareness. I have been practicing Psychiatry since 1976, when I completed my Residency at the Institute of the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

I cannot say enough about Stan Yantis. He is an amazing human being with a pure heart and a strong desire to help people. I came to him in a desperate situation and he gave me immediate helpful and supportive advice that gradually lifted me out of the despair and misery I was consumed with everyday. Dr. Yantis immediately understood and sympathized with my challenging situation and gave me excellent tools and strategies to improve myself. You're very lucky if you have the chance to be a patient of his. He's amazing and I always look forward to our next session. I consider Dr. Yantis

Years after starting with Dr Yantis, a psychiatrist, I keep getting better and better!
Early and in some distress, I asked him "How can you be so sure that my life will improve?
That got his most reassuring smile, and a quick answer: "Because I am an optimist!"
His very large toolkit has a method for you too, doubtless combining his classical training and many local real-world solutions.
Dr Yantis deserves your full attention!

Years ago Dr. Yantis and a rather insane internist in the same building whose name eludes me helped me get on the right set of head meds to treat chronic anxiety and stomach pains which had been a problem since high school.

I distinctly remember Dr. Yantis telling me I had "character armor a mile thick" (!)

Not sure if that's good or not but I took it as a compliment.

After a particularly insightful discussion on the proverbial glass, be it half-full or eternally empty, some how Dr. Yantis and I got to discussing Yelp and the pention for negative reviews. Naturally, I could write a few (have you tried to find good Mexican food in San Francisco?) however, this review is of the happy persuasion. Put quite simply, I adore Dr. Yantis.
Once upon a time in New York City I tried a hand-full of sessions with a not-so-great doctor, who despite oddles of iced coffee and colorful festoons of flowy scarves, could never quite remember who was a boyfriend and who was
