The Trott family has been in the motorcycle industry for 90+ years. After starting out in Birmingham, England they moved the business into London. My great grandfather, Fred Trott I, and grandfather Fred Trott II, sold anything from Triumphs, BSAs, Arials and Vincents to Vespas, Lambrettas, James, Nortons, etc. Really, anything they could get their hands on.
My Father, Fred Trott III, moved from London, England to San Antonio, Texas in 1969 and went to work at Cycle World on Broadway. They were The Honda, Triumph and Harley dealer in town. Then, in 1978, Fred left Cycle World and opened his own motorcycle shop which is, to this day, known as The Motorcycle Shop.

Services
Motor Scooters are usually offered by manufacturers in three engine sizes: 50cc; 150cc; and 250cc ("cc" stands for "cubic centimeters"). Some manufacturers have other engine sizes like 125cc, or more than 250cc (which are sometimes called "Maxi-scoots"). Now that you know what size of engine you need, you'll likely see there are several models to that offer your size of the engine.

We went in thinking we wanted 50ccβs since thatβs what we had and Jason was so good at letting us ride a 125 and a 150 to see the difference in the two. We ended up getting these two and we are so thankful! We rode all over Galveston today and had a blast! He knows his stuff!!! It was like working with a friend. Highly recommend this shop and Jason!!

The staff at The Motorcycle Shop⦠amazing. Especially Jason. Jason is a walking talking Wikipedia of all the products he carries. My wife and I went to the shop every weekend for a month before we made a decision. Over the four weekends we asked Jason hundreds of questions, taking up a lot of his time, yet he patiently answered all of them plus some. The guy has a passion and a long history of motorcycles / scooters. A different young man (I forgot his name) that helped us with our helmets was equally as patient. He talked us through different styles and giving us all the pros and cons. And to

I went there to get an inspection sticker for my Harley. It was like walking into a 2 wheel dream. The Motorcycle Shop is a haven for vintage motorcycles and scooters. I could spend hours browsing. It's a must see for long time riders. The antique jewels are hidden amongst the cutest scooters I've ever seen. Yes, now that I've seen the techy scooters, I want one, just cause.. I met the Amazing Owner he is a cornucopia of old bike facts. He's had them all and remembers them all. I thought I was the human old bike encyclopedia; he's got me beat down with knowledge. They charged me $7 for a sticker

These guys have some funky stuff to any newcomers in the world of motorcycles. Even the Harley Davidson models they carry are unique.
I bought a Royal Enfield Himalayan from them brand new after researching it for a while. When I first started looking for them after they were released, Dallas was the nearest place to carry them. After I was ready to pull to trigger and have one towed from Dallas, I did some digging and found these guys had them! Way to stay up on things.
Within a week, I had ridden the amount of miles required for the first service and these guys got me in and out. I'll likely
