This is a wonderful family run business - so friendly and most important so concerned about the customers - and let's not forget the food is great! They fully accommodated all of my allergies - which is so hard to do at breakfast. He worked with me and we created a plate that I can eat. He realized that the oil he uses was on my allergy list so he cleaned his grill before cooking my food. In talking to them, they have a separate grill for customers who do not eat meat so this type of accommodation is quite natural for this family. I loved being able to eat a tasty, hot breakfast. My brother and i went here per Urban Spoon's recommendation. cute little place, parking was difficult but where isn't it in this city? we got a table in the window and watched the cable cars go by as we ate our breakfast. i got the fruit crepes which were verrry good. fresh bananas, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. none of that fruit compote some places give you. my brother had biscuits and gravy which he said were good. i'll have to take his word for it...the juice tasted fresh and the the prices were reasonable. the service was also really good. our waitress was very sweet and the

Art's Cafe is located on the Parkside neighborhood of San Francisco. The Cafe location is located near Golden Gate Park on 9th and Judah. Art's Cafe is a small 10 seat counter top diner. I particularly appreciated the fact that Breakfast is served all day as well as Lunch. However, all day means 3:00 pm closing. I ordered a BLT sandwich with crinkle fries and i enjoyed the sandwich. The sandwich ingredients were fresh and plump. The crinkle fries were crunchy the way I liked them. My friend ordered a Hot Link sandwich that was topped with Mushrooms, Onions, and Tomatoes. The coffee was commercial

Went for the first time today and was surprised at how small it was inside - cute counter setup! I haven't been to a spot like this in... ever?? Anyhow, I was solo and the nice gentleman manning the grill invited me to take a seat. I ordered the special hash brown sandwich with sausage - NOT TO BE MISSED! I also tried the French toast. Both were scrumptious, but I will be back for the hashbrown sando. Yummmmm! Comfort food at its best. The family who runs it is also the sweetest. I love supporting mom and pop shops like this! And can I say, the prices are SO reasonable (dare I say cheap,

Got to visit Art's cafe this past weekend and I'm glad they are still in business!! My fiancé took me here awhile back Andre haven't had the chance to come back but glad we did this past weekend and we also took our friends from Sac here so winner winner! There was quite a few people ahead of us but I'd say we only waited no more than 30 min top for a table for 4. We didn't get to sit inside and got a outdoor seating instead but that's ok. The inside of the restaurant looks like an old diner with just counter table only. While we were standing one of the servers

This place reminds me of 90s diners, it's so cute!
It's also run by a family of almost 50 years old! Love to support family owned businesses
I got their hash brown sandwich with sausage and bacons with side of veggies! The food was delicious and service was great also!
I also got to talk to the owners about when they opened the business and they were lovely!
Definitely recommend to come get breakfast here! Much better than ihop or Denny's

Great, reasonable priced, hearty breakfast chow. The server guy working here gives great service every single time. He’s a rockstar. Definitely they have always made sure to satisfy, which is why I keep going back. The seating is tight but cozy. It’s enjoyable watching them cook the breakfast in front of you. A+ for price, service, quantity.

Had a nice morning stroll at the Japanese Tea Garden and walked over to the Art's Cafe for some breakfast. They have Korean inspired lunch available for order as well.
I ordered a seafood pancake and shared a 3 stack pancake order with my friend. Both very simple, yet tasty comfort food for a nice fall morning.
Very small space inside and a few tables outside. Friendly staff and fast service!

The space is small: seats 11. Quaint and cozy. Just what I needed for breakfast. My only regret is that I didn't see the hash brown sandwiches. My omelette was DELICIOUS, but those sammies looked mighty tasty!
The service was very nice, helpful, and attentive. Recommended for small groups of 3 or less.

One of the hidden gems in the inner sunset. Some of the best breakfast or brunch in the area. Seat is limited and they only take cash but it’s charm is all worth it. Not only that but you can get American or Korean breakfast. You can come for a brunch or to get over a hangover abs soo many choices to choose from.

Love this little neighborhood diner! My partner and I occasionally come here for breakfast but sometimes around 1ish to avoid the rush. The hashbrowns here are the best - they're thin and crispy! Pancakes are also good - nice and fluffy. I haven't tried the Korean food yet but one of these days I will! The family who now runs the place are great people - def swing by! :)

My family and I had breakfast here. It was delicious. We ordered the grilled banana French toast, cinnamon French toast, a breakfast sandwich and a Denver omelet. We were so pleased. It was the best breakfast we had our entire vacation. There were three people working and they were amazing. They are a great team. We will definitely be back when we visit San Francisco again.

DO NOT MISS OUT
Im slightly behind with my reviews but ate here yesterday and wanted to write this review in ASAP! 100% deserving of all 5 stars and worth given more.
Arts Cafe defines what a cafe should be: service, quality, quantity, overall. First, in terms of Covid safety, they properly distance people in the cafe. They also have outdoor dining - I believe. The staff were all wearing masks and gloves and hairnets. There is a shield between you and the staff. This means you are watching them cook in front of you.
Which brings me to my next point : family run!! The lady was so proud of her

Cute diner serving up American-style brunch with a Korean twist. I ordered the bacon, avocado, cheese omelet and beef bibimbap. The omelet definitely hit the spot - super fluffy eggs, big portions of creamy avocado, and crispy bacon. It came with two slices of buttered toast and jam. The hash browns were flavorful, albeit a little soggy because we got takeout, but this is something I'm willing to overlook. I really enjoyed the Bibimbap because the ingredients were so fresh. The portion was very generous, enough for both my boyfriend and I to leave with full tummies!
Good portions, affordable

Family owned and run establishment, and they're all super friendly. Dad cooks, mom is the sous chef, daughter works the register, and son serves and busses the tables. Always wanted to try this place but there was always a wait. Now that they have additional seating with the outdoor tables and limited indoor seating AND there was an open table when we arrived we finally got to check this place out.
We ordered the Samurai Omelette and Spicy Pork Bibimbap. Hubs loved his omelette, especially the hash browns as they were crispy just the way he liked them. As such, he wants to try the hash

Great place for breakfast! Metered street parking, and also there's parking lot Indoor & outdoor dining is allowed (3/16/21). Inside seating is bar-style where food is prepared in front of you on the grill. Currently as of 3/16/21, the inside seating is limited to 25%. I enjoyed how the food is freshly cooked on the grill in front of you. Very clean food prep area. The owners were very attentive, helpful, and great to talk to. The menu was easy to follow, and prices were great! I love how they offer a choice of rice or hash browns with breakfast. I got both, because I like rice, & hash browns.

**Unfortunately, Art's is permanently closed. Original review is reflective of pre-COVID experience.
Art's is a novel experience: very small, all bar seating, no frills, classic breakfast foods with a twist cooked right in front of you. The bulgogi hashbrowns are GOOD and a must-try. We also really enjoyed the french toast. All menu items are reasonably priced.
Very limited seating inside, so wait times here can be long. Cash only.
