Could not be happier with this place! My son was diagnosed with a vision issue at a very early age by our pediatrician (18 months) and OCVT has helped us navigate his care every step of the way; from selecting tiny glasses, to lens selection, to recommendations for home to encourage more wear, to therapy sessions and more. They are responsive, polite, client-centric, and truly have a knack for working with all ages, but especially young children. I can’t imagine trying to navigate the ins and outs of my son’s vision therapy without them!

Our daughter struggled with many things to include reading and writing. We were referred to vision therapy after being tested for AHDH. She showed a severe deficit in 6/7 major eye/brain functions. It took a little longer than originally planned (thanks Covid), but happy to say that she is finally equal to her peers! A great big thanks to Dr. O’Brien and Theresa for all the hard work helping her through!

Dr. Larson and team are the best. I started doing therapy after having a brain surgery (I am fine!) and double vision which severely impacted my life. I am happy to say I am doing great, no double vision and can function normally as a result. Going to a mostly children's therapy center for an adult is a bit off-putting, but Marina and I could laugh at it and adapt. I highly recommend Dr. Larson and team.

My son Merrick was awarded a highly valuable scholarship for vision therapy when he was a 2nd grade student at AISD.
We attended meetings weekly for a year and I still consider the clinical staff at OCVT the best ever. I continue (many years later) to pay out of pocket for my son's annual vision exams at this location. Their attention to detail is amazing and they are proficient at engaging even the most reluctant of children in the process of vision therapy.
My son made amazing strides while he was there. His vision was substantially impaired prior to his treatment. With weekly vision therapy

Dr Larson and her team provide an incredible service that I think most people aren’t aware even exists. Many symptoms that are labeled a learning disability, a lack of intelligence, or just an inability to do something physically actually have to do with the visual system not working properly. Dr Larson loves what she does, and she loves to educate people about their potential. I have been through vision therapy with her, and I never realized that I had solvable problems that I was just living with because I thought I had to. I can read more efficiently and fluidly now and with less effort, and

Highly recommend! My wife had an head injury that resulted in vision problems and OCVT was outstanding in restoring her to health! We sought other doctors who basically had said my wife would have to live with the vision problems, but OCVT was specialized, professional, and helped my wife make a full recovery. We are so thankful for OCVT!

Because of what is typically referred to as a lazy-eye, I’ve never had depth perception or had my eyes work together effectively. I’m in my mid-40’s, but after seeing the progress my child experienced, I asked if I was a candidate for treatment. After a thorough evaluation, I began weekly sessions and have seen continued improvement. In-person or virtual, my therapy sessions are always engaging, creative, and helpful. Home exercises are thoroughly explained and progress evaluations are done routinely to quantify improvement.

The Optometry Center for Vision Therapy has truly saved our daughter’s vision. She was going down the path of being blind in one eye due to only patching to “strengthen” her eye. We started her with vision therapy when she was 5. All of the staff and doctors are so helpful and kind. Ms. Ashley Coley is amazing! She is helping our daughter strengthen the connection between her brain and eyes and to work together. We are so thankful for The Optometry Center for Vision Therapy!

The only thing that makes me crazy is the scheduling. Because they primarily work with kids, it would be much easier if they offered evening appointments. Any other occupational therapy we attended in the past always had appointments more in line with when kids are available. Otherwise, the treatment we’re receiving is working. We are diligent about doing the work at home, which I feel is a major component in how quickly my son progressed. Also, the therapists are super sweet and attentive. They are great at keeping the kids interested so my son never complains about attending.

My family’s experience at OCVT has been amazing! We were recommended by our pediatrician after having premature boy/girl twins for the Infant See program. The doctors were amazing to watch interact and examine such young children!!! So when our older daughter needed an eye exam, it was a no-brained as to where I wanted to take her!
Little did I know, our journey at OCVT was just beginning and I’ve only ever been more and more impressed with everyone we have gotten to work with-doctors, therapists (especially Josh!!), and front desk!!! I learned that my daughter does not need glasses but she

We've seen such great results with our son since beginning vision therapy. He has 7 diagnoses, which caused him to have severe migraines, nausea, and dizziness. After 7 weeks, all of this improved greatly. The 8th week he starting being able to read for fun again. He has ALWAYS had trouble knowing his left from his right, but now he just knows it. He's not as sensitive to noise anymore. We saw The Incredibles 2 in a theater, and he was not bothered by the sound - we very rarely go to the theater because of this. So, we now have plans to see Jurrasic World Fallen Kingdom. He

OCVT has been a blessing not only to our son, Memo, but to our family as well. Memo was struggling in school and we couldn't quite figure out what the problem was. The teachers were always hinting that it was ADHD and we should see a doctor. We were determined to try whatever we needed to do before medicating our child. That's when his occupational therapist, Miss Kim, referred him to OCVT.
What we didn't realize was that his eyes were not converging. Through weekly therapy sessions and homework activities we were already seeing an improvement within a few months. Last year
