But we knew there was hope for the 1 to 2 percent of the population struggling with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder, so we developed a treatment center that could provide that hope. At Clearview Women's Center, we are committed to helping women suffering from the symptoms of BPD, emotional dysregulation, and other acute psychiatric disorders.
Clearview Women's Center in Los Angeles was founded in 2009 as a division of Clearview Treatment Programs. Clearview Founder and Executive Director Michael Roy, LCSW, saw the need for a dedicated treatment center for women with Borderline Personality Disorder after recognizing women weren't getting the support they needed in a traditional dual diagnosis treatment setting.
Clearview Women's Center is the premier treatment center for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and emotional disorders on the West Coast. While our residential, day, and outpatient treatment programs were specifically designed to treat women struggling with symptoms of BPD and emotional disorders, we know that these disorders often co-exist with other psychiatric and mental health disorders.
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a psychological disorder that, through its intense emotional disturbance, mood swings, and instability, can be very disrupting to the lives of those affected by it. For the roughly 2 percent of the population experiencing the symptoms of BPD, it can feel like there is no hope.
Emotional dysregulation is a mood disorder that affects anywhere from 1 percent to 3 percent of people in the United States. Emotional dysregulation is characterized by difficulty in the regulation of emotional responses and behavior. Those who suffer from emotional dysregulation are often seen as aggressive, baiting, or testing others, and as generally trying to cause conflict.

Clearview Saved my life. Professional, loving environment. They not only educated me on how to manage my own mental illness, but educated my whole family on how to support a loved one living with mental illness. I highly recommend Clearview Women’s Center and appreciate each and every staff member who helped me learn how to have a fulfilling life worth living for.

Words can't describe how much Clearview Women's Center has done for me. Dialectical Behavior Therapy isn't only for Borderline Personality Disorder. The skills I have learned around Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness have given me strategies to use daily in life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or any other mental health need, Clearview is for you. The women's center is small and because of this, the care is specialized to each client and you feel like everyone is on your team. My therapist helped me see things better than any

It's a perfect place to begin your recovery/treatment The groups are extremely helpful and provide a lot of insight into how one should manage their emotions. The staff is a group of very compassionate and knowledgeable individuals who truly care about those in their care.
