Services
It is a one-time only expense, paid when you purchase your home. Yet it continues to provide complete coverage for as long as you, or your heirs, own the property. Title insurance offers financial protection against problems which could develop as a result of defects in the chain of title, or outstanding liens or judgments that could jeopardize your investment.
If you are purchasing the home with cash the closing will generally take about 30 minutes. If you are purchasing the home with a mortgage there is a lot of paperwork and procedures that the mortgage company requires. Plan on the closing taking between 1 to 2 hours.
At the closing the buyer will sign all of the mortgage documents as well as a handful of title related documents and the seller will sign several title related documents, and most importantly, the deed transferring the property to the buyer.We will review these documents with the parties as we go through the signing process.

If I could give1/2 star I would. My wife was out of the country and Kate one of the officers of the company sent her a program to verify her identity. This program was asking questions about where she had lived as a young child from over 60 years ago. This was absolutely impossible to remember because she was part of a military family and they move quite often. We explained this to Kate and it all fell on deaf ears. We suggested to assure title different ways to get her identity verified.. They insisted on only their way and received no help from Kate or anyone in her organization other than it

Kate and Lorna were the best! It was our first time buying a home and we were buying from our landlord without using a realtor. So we were a bit clueless and nervous. They were great at explaining and making sure we understood everything. Kate not only made the closing easy but it was actually fun, we laughed quite a bit! Will definitely use them again.
