Sun Bright Childcare ( daycare) was established in 2011 to serve the North Philadelphia community. Located in Zip code 19140. Open for extended hours from 6 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday. Sun Bright is a high quality, fully licensed center by state of Pennsylvania with rating of Star 4 by Keystone stars. Sun Bright is an equal opportunity institution. Every day we learn more about the incredible capacities of infants. Babies react to noise, changes in lighting, and new people-from the very beginning proof that they are aware of sights, sounds, and other people in their lives. Although your baby cannot tell you in words that she is hungry or needs a diaper change, she expresses her feelings and needs through the sounds she makes, her facial expressions, and movements.
Toddlers, while no longer babies, are still in early development stages; learning to explore the sights, sounds, and textures of a whole new world. Children begin learning from the moment they are born, and the environment we create lays the foundation for their development throughout life. During the early childhood years, all areas of development-thinking, feeling, moving, and getting along with others-are connected.
In a very real sense, the preschool-age child is an explorer who faces a future in unknown territory. As caregivers we are doing everything we can to get him/her ready for this great adventure. Those who succeed will have the flexibility of mind to find solutions to problems they encounter. They will be curious about how things work.
Free Diapers for first 4 weeks at Sun Bright Childcare. After Free Diapers and wipes period, you still do not have to worry about the diapers and wipes if you enroll in our Diaper Program. You just pay a nominal per week cost and we will take care of it. You pay 2 weeks deposit and 2 weeks in advance.
Proof of Birth Required for PHL Prek - Any of the following Documents - May must be 3 years old by Sept 1 and less than 5 by Sept 1. Proof of Residency Require for PHL Prek- Any of the following Documents - Document must be current or dated less12 months. Statement from social services agency attesting to client's residence (only if no other proof is available).

We are grateful that Sun Bright Childcare picks children from my children's school. They have a transportation fee for this service. CCIS only pays for childcare and not any other service. This is such a godsend convenience for us. They even take my kids to school in the morning. I highly recommend this daycare. They have my thumbs up!!!!!!

We interviewed at several childcare center for our daughter. I know prices can vary widely depending on number of factors but I'll say it is very reasonable. Of the several facilities we interviewed with, Sun Bright Childcare had the best pricing for the level of service they provided.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Sun Bright Childcare!!! Our son is now 19 mos and has been going here for the last 3 months. He loves it. Upon arrival he runs to his teachers to gives her a hug with a big smile on his face. We were previously in a corporate day care facility and he was not happy there. I would recommend Sun Bright Childcare to anyone.

My son attends Sun Bright Childcare! He attended full-time from since he was 9 months until he was about 22 months old, so he was in the infant and then the toddler room. The only reason we changed care providers is because of the commute- I liked Sun Bright . All my children have attended Sun Bright.
His teachers were so patient and caring, and they really cared about teaching him and helping him make progress.

Sun Bright offers the type of school age that all children deserve, but that only a fortunate few actually receive. Our daughter has attended Sun Bright from toddler age through after-school (where she is now). My daughters school Bethune Elementary shut down because it had no electricity. The school bused kids to a different school. Sun Bright got to the other school to pick up the kids. next day Bethune closed early again because the electricity was not on yet. Sun Bright got the kids from the school early. I appreciate how Sun Bright takes care of our kids. I also appreciate how Sun Bright's

I love this daycare!! I really appreciate that the director is so friendly. They go above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable. They all have individually gone to help my child calm down when they saw me anxious at drop off. The daycare is clean and provides a balanced and nutritious lunch. I am so glad I switched my daughter over from another local, well reputed daycare.

Sunbright Child Care Center is amazing. I have two children that are now 4 and 3 and have been there since they were infants. The teachers are incredible. I feel like my kids truly matter to them. I am always so happy when my daughter has a huge smile on her face when she sees her teachers in the morning. My son learns so much on a daily basis. We get daily progress reports on what the kids did in class, what they ate, how they slept, and how they behaved. I love being able to talk to my kids at night about what they worked on in class.

I had finally found Sun Bright. It has been the BEST daycare school for my son who is two. I've tried others in the Philadelphia and non has e even compare to the quality of education my son is learning here everyday. My son is happy to go to school. I have peace of mind leaving him and when I pick him up he doesn't even want to leave. He has been so much healthier too. The teachers are great! It feels like one big family when I walk in the door. This school is fantastic and I believe anyone who enrolls their child here will be just as thrilled. I'm so glad I found Sun Bright Childcare.
