I went there for lunch at around 12:30 p.m., we drove about 40 minutes to have our meal, there was no one there to take my order, I waited 15 minutes, one guy arrived and gave me the menu, then he left without saying anything to me. I was ready to place an order but there was no one there to take it. I tried calling someone and one guy was there, but the person was looking over the phone and not responding when I called him. I approached him and asked to take our order. We ordered Mutton Meals and Chicken Meals, Tandoori Chicken and Chicken 65. We got the food, but I didn't get a plate or any water

We visited this place for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with an expectation of having good food. We ordered seeraga samba Mutton biryani, Chicken Biryani and chicken platter. Chicken platter was pretty good. Rice was overcooked in the mutton biryani, very mushy like baby food. We hardy eat 2 spoons of it. We hate to waste food and hence packed it. We took it to our friends place and they asked if it was quinoa. You can imagine how it was. Chicken biryani was not the best either. We totally regret going to this place expecting it to be the same as in Chennai. The waiter did not return to us to check

Visited Anjappar on Nov 28th for lunch, weekend place was crowded but not much delay in getting our orders, Appetizers came within 10 mins, main course took sometime(30 mins) but informed promptly by front staff delay due to excessive orders. Egg Kothu parotta, Gobi Manchurian and Crab masala were my favorites. This type of Biriyani is very rare to get in dallas area here. Its the authentic tamil dum biriyani..

Went here for lunch on Saturday. Service was pathetic. Bottles of water were put in one corner of our table. We were not asked about ordering drinks. Food arrived on time but we had no silverware or even serving spoon. The mutton curry was cold.
We had to stop one of the staff to ask for it. Food was very spicy so we ordered lemon soda which never made it to our table.
To top this off we were screwed when we paid our bill. The help at the register overcharged our credit card and did not provide a receipt even when we asked for one.

Good food n Ambience. Great place for South Indian cuisines. We tried this Tawa fish fry and mutton Ceylone paratha....ooooo..fish was yumm but this partha was too much heavy for us. The keema stuffing in it wasn't great and the egg coating filled our stomach fast. This dish requires people with great appetite. :p n yes serving time is average.

Very disappointing, we ordered shrimp biriyani as we dont eat meat, the food provided had shrimp on top and chicken pieces in bottom. Anjappar never seriously thought about providing true ingredients on the… menu nor considered the allergies / effects of providing an incorrect food, the only response to this issue was they would replace it.

Visited on 19th May 2021 for dinner. First time visiting here. Surprisingly the food was yummy, no complaints. But, we waited for someone to take the order for nearly 25 minutes and received food after 25 minutes. The food was fresh, hot and yummy 😋 so no complaints ☺️. I talked with the staff at the counter and he was kind and asked us to visit again to try the Biriyani during weekends 😀. Good food 👍🏽.

I would not even give one star to this restaurant.Being a travelling person and a foody, would love to try most of the vegetarian and egg stuffs but this restaurant is different. When i ordered through Grub hub… to have at home from their Menu, it was written as Egg Biryani. So ordered this Biryani, along with other foods items but unfortunately they have two types of Egg Biryani and its no where mentioned in the menu that they serve as Veg and NON-VEG. They sent a NON-VEG Biryani as he assumed we eat non-veg without even calling to confirm but its his assumption it-seems. Later. the Biryani

I ordered Hot and sour soup, they don’t know what hot and sour soup made, they look like took hot sauce and mix some bell pepper and onion on it and put lots of chill flakes on that and serve. Not sure how then can make malai kofta without any cream do’t recommend it to anyone if FB have negative rating i want to give that

I was pretty happy that I finally got to visit this amazing place as it was on my bucket list for a long time. This place totally met my expectations of what I thought this place might be.Besides great ambiance and superbly yummy food, the men out here are very friendly and prompt with their service.
