Services
Many of our dishes travel really well, try the Rinder Rouladen or the Kohl Rouladen for your dinner this weekend. We do want you to have a great experience and limited ourselves to dishes that do travel well and will be tasty once they reach your home. Schnitzel will travel well in our new container.
He highlighted in his laudatio that he very much values us as a very important part of the Weihenstephaner Family because we treat our Bier as one should with a lot of respect for cleanliness, correct and matching glassware, our Passion for Excellence, Tradition and Authenticity both for Food and Bier, and of course our variety and freshness of our Bavarian Biers.
We proundly feature Bavarian Wines from The Staatlicher Hofkeller estate that is located in the city of Wurzburg in the Maindreieck area in the Franken wine-growing region in Bavaria. Staatlicher Hofkeller, the royal state cellar, has a long tradition; it was founded in 1128 making it the oldest wine estate in Germany.
Christian's favorite: Fresh pasta pockets are filled with ground veal, spinach and sauted onions served beef broth, and a mixed salad. Tiny pasta dumplings tossed with fresh mushrooms, sauted onions, peas and Black Forest ham, in a creamy cheese sauce.

In the traditional Bavarian style, we suggest with our entree's either mashed or sauted potatoes, warm herbed potato salad, tiny pasta dumplings, a bread dumpling, or potato pancakes, and a vegetable or salad. Please feel free to substitute the sides. A Bavarian Grill classic: Breaded Schnitzel topped with a rich mushroom sauce, with tiny pasta dumplings and creamy spinach.
A generous scoop of Bavarian Vanilla Ice cream with our special blend of warm Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries topped with a candle. Dark, juicy Bing Cherries in the moist chocolate dough and freshly whipped cream with a trace of Original Schladerer Black Forest Cherry Brandy give you and your guests the authentic flavor.

As a German (born and raised) I can say that this is a pretty legit Bavarian experience, ambience and food is really good and the selection of German beers is fantastic.
I am not sure what language the accordion player is singing in though ;) Still fun to listen to! Wunderbar!

If you've been to Germany or Switzerland, this place will be nostalgic for you. The pretzel bread was perfect. If you like German food, you'll love this spot. Make a reservation, it's popular and can have a long wait.

I throughly enjoyed the meal and service. This is one of the few places that has authentic German fare. We went during October, so it was very crowded. They were out of a few menu items by the time we were seated. The food was really very good and accurate considering how busy they were. The atmosphere was fun with live music. I would definitely go back!

I’ve visited 2-3 times, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and there is always live music, at least the days I went. You can’t go wrong with anything you get here honestly, but their side salad is just way too much pickled stuff for my taste so I was not too keen of it. The mustards are good but I felt they could’ve been better.
If you go and don’t know what to order, all of their very traditional dishes are a hit, sausage platter, the schnitzels, giant pretzel and red cabbage. I would start off with dishes like these first if you’re not familiar with this cuisine. Next time I go I’ll

I've been to Germany several times, and since moving to DFW, I've been looking for some authentic German eats! I saw this place, and I've gotta say, it is wonderfully decorated and makes you feel excited for going there. I do have to put a disclaimer right here, though: This place gets a 5/5 from for the atmosphere and employees, however based on food, as it's a food review, it gets a 3/5 for me. So take that into consideration when reading my review. It's definitely a 5/5 if you're looking to come drink with some friends in an authentic German setting. However, not

This is my favorite restaurant! It's full of culture and its a look into another world almost compared to 99% of restaurants here in Texas. The owner walks around to greet guests and ensure that everything is great. Food is amazing and authentic and the best beers in town. Forever and always the #1 place I want to eat.

My wife and I have visited this location many times prior to covid and just had the chance to go back recently. We love the food and the servers have always been great. My wife lived in German for several years and enjoys the food as it reminds of those days. I don't know for sure but feel like everything is home made and not generic bought or frozen...its very tasty

Love the atmosphere, great food and beer! Live Bavarian music and theme. Food is great, beer could be colder but they have an extensive selection. Make a reservation to be in the main room for the live music - it really adds to the experience!

Not labeled with the actual menu item names as I'm typing from memory lol. Sorry!!

I have some pretty high standards for German food as I lived in Rheinland Pfalz for a while. I liked the baked Brie appetizer, but the potato pancakes weren't a texture that I usually expect from them. The bread was a little bland as well but it looks like something they don't make in house anyway. The butter was good & fluffy.

I ordered Rahmschnitzel with creamed spinach and a gemischte salad. The salad was suuuuper unnecessarily wet; I did enjoy the beets though. I have never seen a Rahmschnitzel

I've had my eye on Barbarian Grill for some time and finally made the drive to Plano for a special occasion to see if the hype was true.
I'll spoil the wait, the hype is well deserved. Started with the potato pancakes and a pretzel. Dinner was two schnitzels (regular and jager). Dessert was the apple strudel. I had two beers which were both outstanding of course.
On the schnitzels. Come hungry. The caveman sized schnitzel needs folded on itself to fit on the plate. Their kraut was stanky like it should be (not sweet) and the warm potato salad was exactly as I remember my mom's. Pretzel was hot

Fabulous.
Exceptionally good pretzel. Yummy in my tummy. Great mustard.
Yummy schnitzel and really good mashed potatoes.
The coffee dessert is really good. Be careful if you get the one with the liquor because it's dangerous.
Can't wait to come back around Christmas time I know it will be really cute.

Really good, wholesome service.

Eat here :-)

Overall experience was just okay.
Bratwurst was good but the Goulash was very sour/salty/ hard to describe. That's a taste preference I guess. Maybe it's cooked with wine ?

"Tossed salad" is not what you would expect either. It is a very vinegary assortment of beets, cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes. If you like that flavor then you're fine, we were just surprised by it.

The bread basket everyone Photographs is not what it once was.
We got 1 white roll per person and they were tiny! See the size of the butter compared to the rolls!

We were lucky to get a table for two without a reservation. Wed night the place was packed with friends and families enjoying each other, the train circling the dining room, good beer and food and better conversations. I am so glad they survived events last year. Its been forever since we were here last...shame on us. worth another visit sooner than later. Lots of food and plenty of leftovers for us.

Absolutely recommend this place. The ambiance is so friendly and welcoming. It's some of the best German food we've had in Texas, for sure. When I walked in, you will notice the decor is definitely all German, Oktoberfest related. It's cozy on the inside. Outdoor seating is available but it was too cold for that. As we were seated, there was a guy playing the accordion and singing. He was throughly entertaining. He sung in German and English. He also had the restaurant crowd participating. It was lively!

The bread brought to the table were pumpernickel and an onion garlic roll

This was a fun experience! I had seen food pics from this place and they all looked really great. So how was it?

The Positive:

The environment was like stepping into a different world. Ive never been to Germany or experienced any Germanic culture, but they seem like an old world representation. The decor is intriguing with working trains, memorabilia, and giant beer mugs. There was even a gentleman playing an accordion until the very end, like the scene in titanic when the band continued to play as the ship sank lol.

The food wasn't bad! I very much enjoyed the cabbage wrapped pork

This family-owned restaurant rises above all the rest when it comes to authentic German food! We have enjoyed eating here for nearly 10 years now and for this reason, they deserve a FIVE STAR review.

We visit throughout the year and we appreciate that they are one of the few restaurants that take reservations. On that note, during a worldwide pandemic, we were grateful to make reservations for our son's 22nd birthday.

We arrived on time. Told the hostess it was our son's birthday. She assured us she would tell our waitress.

We had a delicious dinner, great German beer, and we

Bavarian Grill is so amazing! I stopped by for the first time last week with my family and the food was absolutely incredible. Our server, Jose, was attentive and gave us great beer suggestions! The decor here is so awesome. The entire time we ate here, I felt like I had transported to Germany! The bratwurst was top notch!
If you're in the DFW area, go to Bavarian Grill! They also have live music some nights, which is SO FUN!

We have spent a lot of time in Germany and have eaten some wonderful German food, also tried some of the other German restaurants in our area but had not tried this one.

So it was a Friday night and the line was long fortunately I made reservations- so if your visiting on the weekend make sure to make reservations!

Two rolls are brought with butter once seated and they were tasty crispy outside soft center served warm..
The decor was traditional German style, the atmosphere was lively and happy!

The food was delicious! There was 6 of us in the party. We all work together, so this get together made it even more fun!

I was the only one that had been here before. This ended up being a huge treat since live music was being performed. Fantastic customer participation with the fella on the accordion. He's funny too!

The beer is really good too!

When you first enter the hostess will have you scan a menu onto your phone. What a great idea. That way I don't have to touch a menu that I don't know if it's been properly cleaned.

Didn't get a lot of pics since everyone

I have finally found a authentic German Restaurant in Texas. I never realized how much I missed eating German food until we moved back to Texas.
I met my husband in Karlsruhe Germany 26 years ago while he was in the military. I can still remember the taste of the Pomme Frittes (French Fries) and JagerSchnitzel. The gravy in Germany is out of this world and I have not found a place that compares.

Fast forward to Bavarian Grill, I read some of the reviews which includes a few from my friends who have been to Germany or were stationed there so I knew I had to try this place. Unfortunately
