They had a lot of stuff however customer service is horrible! & the young lady who helped me has a major attitude & vibes in there are not welcoming at all!

If I could I would leave a -5. My mother and I had brought in my grandmother's 53year old Singer sewing machine for an estimate. We wanted to see how much it would cost to have it cleaned and replaced any rusted parts. We knew it needed work so we called a head of time and asked if they repaired our machine because we knew it was so old. They said yes they did and to bring it in for a free estimate, so we did. When we first got there the lady didn't even bother to help me or tell me where I could put the machine down. I had to ask her if it was okay to place it on the table. Then this

This review is about an employee whose name I do not know.
I was followed by a red mini cooper with white racing stripes through the parking lot and then it parked across from where I parked so the person inside could watch me. It was very creepy despite it being 9 in the morning on a sunny day.
So I shop at the used bookstore in this shopping center often and made sure that I parked in a space without any markings on it. I even double checked it when I got out of my car. I'm able bodied so I try not to take the spaces nearest the building because others might need them and there are few

The worst customer service. Unless you are going to spend thousands of dollars dont bother. I went in to buy a basic Singer nothing fancy. They do have some basic Singer machines in there but they don't want to bother with you.
Why sell them if you are not going to provide customer service?
They just all walked away from me.
Thats ok. I will look on Amazon.
Didnt want to wait but after dealing with that I will wait for it to be delivered to my front door.

Family had purchased an embroidery machine for me on the mainland. Went into this store to ask about purchasing other accessories. Lady said since i hadn't purchased my machine from them she can't help me & i shoulda bought from them instead. Walked out discouraged & disgusted.

Weeks later i called to ask questions on servicing because issues I'm having with my older machine. Male who answered said "they are working & cannot talk to you. You should just Google your questions & figure it out

I have had my Bernina 930 machine serviced here a few times, always with excellent results. It is 35 years old, and they never push me to buy the latest model, which to me is a big plus. They also found me a working Bernina foot pedal when mine died. The kind I had isn't made any more. Sometimes parts take time to get because of the age, but they happily call one of their other stores (called California Sewing and Vacuum) in San Rafael or the South Bay to check whether they can bring one in a day or two. Horrible service. The guy that came to talk to us when we walked in was extremely rude and acted like we were an inconvenience and not potential customers. I went to the shop to try and get my Brother serger fixed. It's only 6 months old and still under warranty. I was immediately told that if I bought it online they would not honor the warranty. I was told I would have to pay the full price of about $165 to get it fixed. My mom brought with her her sewing machine to get cleaned snd was told the same price. They weren't honest when I purchased a very expensive Bernina sewing machine ($4,000). I was told they only had one more left, and when I asked if it was a brand-new machine, they said yes. I asked if it was a display model, and they said no. They said it's a brand-new machine in the box. After using it for a couple of weeks, I found out how to check the "history" of the machine (how many stitches the machine has sewn so far). The high-end computerized machines can do this, I'm not sure about the lower models. I was shocked to see that it already had more than 42,000 stitches

Because wearing face masks are a necessity at this time, I wanted to get a sewing machine for my sister and her daughters. I believe that sewing is a practical skill and wanted to pass on some knowledge to my nieces.

Unfortunately, all six Walmarts on the Island of Oahu were sold out of sewing machines, thread, and elastic! Wow! I went to another sewing machine repair shop in Kaneohe before I visited US Sewing and Vacuum in Honolulu.

This place has a good selection of vacuums and sewing machines and I have bought both products there before.
No problem with the service there before. Lately I brought my vacuum in for servicing and the fellow that "helped" me was rude and inept. Also my vacuum makes a whistling noise now. Vowed not to go back there

Really disappointed and angry about this place. My husband bought me Singer machine for my birthday and I've been using for almost 4 years. Went in to have my vacuum cleaner repaired.
Mind you I have been bringing it to this exact place for 15 or more years. I have always owned dyson. The lady says we don’t repair dyson. Well I ask is this new she says we never have because they can’t get parts. I brought my dyson to this location for 15+ years the woman always was able to fix or service with no problems. Maybe this lady was new but not friendly at all. I don’t recommend this store at all.

Took my 30 year old machine to be serviced. They gave me an estimate. Machine was ready within the week. Operating smoothly. I am happy with their service.

Brought in my moms Bernita machine for general service they took about a week and they called when it was ready. The staff is friendly and very helpful and they really informative about their business. My mom was very happy with the service

The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired --- both in their policies and the employees. I bought some thread less than a week ago and was given my credit card receipt; as I finished my project and didn't have to use the thread i bought, I went to return it.

We stopped by with my wife's sewing machine the other day because I had to replace the bobbin case that I broke (trying to be the 'helpful' husband sometimes has it's drawbacks for her), and I simply could NOT get the replacement case I ordered to sit right in the machine. I own a Bernina & have gone to this store since before social media. Thru the years I have been a very satisfied customer. Since my retirement, I joined the sewing club & have taken classes led & instructed by Grace. She's fabulous. Yes can I say Thank you Lori for all your help! I came in just to get a perspective on price but instead I bought a serger that I've been wanting one for years. I bought the last model at a discount and Lori was nice enough to go thru the features! I came here because the reviews on Yelp was great and I'm happy I did! Plus some of the materials was 50% off and some were 15% off. I'm happy with the service and my machine as well the machines and bonus I get a one year service from them!!

They don't seem to know what they are doing. After 4 trips within a last year, my Bernina broke again. I will never go there.
