Kaylie has been with Blossom since 2012 after graduating from Pima Medical Institute. To her, working at Blossom Bariatrics is extremely rewarding because she is able to witness each clients journey firsthand. Currently, Kaylie is furthering her education at Nevada State College where she is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

In the United States, more than 30 percent of adults are considered obese. Much more than an aesthetic concern, obesity can cause an array of health problems including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, and osteoarthritis. A common misconception about weight loss surgery is that it's only for the morbidly obese.
Bariatric procedures cause weight loss by changing the anatomy of your gastrointestinal track (digestive system and stomach). The gastric sleeve or Safe Sleeve reduce the stomach size to restrict the amount of food the stomach can hold, while the gastric bypass creates a small pouch as well as a bypass for food, resulting in fewer calories and nutrients to be absorbed - otherwise known as malabsorption.

Everything with Blossom was a great experience. Everyone I met with was great at answering questions, the expectations they gave me were clear as to what my next steps were and what to expect. The drivers were great with communicating pick up times and answering any questions I had. Having the aids come to the hotel were great as well they were very attentive and caring. I would definitely recommend Blossom to anyone considering Baritactric surgery

My experience with Blossom was extremely positive and comfortable. Dr. Apel set the expectations from the beginning of what my experience after surgery would be like which made the recovery period well understood. The team at blossom is pleasant and communicates well. Many of the employees are patients as well, which gave me even more confidence in the company.
I struggled with weight loss and lost my father to a sudden heart attack last summer. I had to reevaluate my life and who I wanted to be. Blossom Bariatrics was the best decision I could have made for myself, my family, and career.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience thus far! Everyone from the drivers, staff, and doctors have been so friendly and knowledgeable. The process was so smooth and everything was explained well.
I know 2 others who went here with great success and when I ran into insurance issues locally, this was a no-brainer! I've also made a few new friends during this process; the support is amazing!

After trying to lose weight doing diets, heavy exercise and relapsing again and again, I feel so disappointed not getting where I want to be, then due to Fatty Liver and other health conditions make it really necessary to lose weight, doing my researchers here and there, Blossom Bariatrics come into my live, they provide a wonderful tool, the Safe Sleeve, at first wasn’t sure but then my health was getting weak I decide to do it, everyone here at Blossom Bariatrics and Warm Spring Surgical Center are super nice, nurses, staff, anesthesiologist, drivers and doctors all get my 💯 approval.
