Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
If the procedure was in the lower jaw the tongue, teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. If the procedure was in the upper jaw the teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. Often, children do not understand the effects of local anesthesia, and may chew, scratch, suck, or play with the numb lip, tongue, or cheek.

The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
The American Association for Orthodontists recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. Early detection and treatment gives your child the edge: a much better chance for natural and normal development. By working with the natural growth instead of against it, we can prevent problems from becoming worse, and give your child a lifetime of healthy smiles!

I LOVE THIS DENTIST they really are the BEST !! My 9 year old daughter has had a bad experience at another dentist and This place has been above and beyond !!! Today Laura was SO AWESOME ! She was super friendly ,nice and really fast my daughter was like "your done already "

I love love love coming here! Everyone absolutely everyone is so nice and knowledgeable! Plus they are great with kids!!! I have been bringing my son here since he was 1! Not once has he cried !!!! He actually gets excited when I tell him it's time to visit the dentist! If my son is happy, it's just easier on us parents and mommies lol I never wait more than 5 min in the waiting area! I love their process, it's so organized, clean, fast! Without taking away from any procedures that are needed. I highly recommend bringing your little ones here.

I highly recommend this dentist... the staff is so kind and patient answering all my questions and concerns! Dr. Min has been working on my daughter for regular check ups and just currently worked on my 5 year old teeth. She's so sweet and made my child's experience so positive and relaxing!!! They work as a team making children comfortable with a positive experience....love their customers service as well!!!

My last review was over 4 years ago, and everything that I said about Dr. Min, and her team remains true. Every visit has been consistently amazing, and we always look forward to them! My son is a nervous kid! He get anxiety. My Dentist & Me did a teeth check up at his elementary when he was in Tk and he said he liked the person who went. That's exactly when I knew we had to go there. My son is now going to start 3rd grade!! Almost 4 years and we still go there. All the dental assistants are amazing and friendly. This dentistry has been so pleasant. We moved an hour away from this office, and I still make the drive for my kids to go here! They are all so kind and attentive. They're very clean and kid friendly! They've been very understanding with our family and have worked with us during our dental visits. I absolutely recommend this office and staff.

What a great experience my kids had here! I always loved going to the dentist and I was hoping my kids would have a wonderful first experience too. They way all of the staff treated our family since the first day I called has been absolutely above and beyond. This is a great pediatric dental office! My daughter isn't scared at all when we come. The front office staff are polite. The ladies are friendly and make sure to give you as many details of the appointment as possible. We've had general cleaning and a couple crowns.
The staff seems like they genuinely enjoy working with kids. The rooms are so cute, all different themes with TVs to keep the kiddos occupied.
Our dentist was very gentle and honest about it the work that needed to be done.

Started bringing my girls here almost 4 years ago. So glad I found Dr. Min, she is wonderful with kids. Very gentle, caring, and loving. Her staff is also very friendly. I never thought my girls would get excited going to the dentist. The rooms are so nicely decorated, and always so nice and clean. Highly recommend this place. Your kids will love it.

Brought my daughter here a few times so far. I couldn't be happier with this place. Dr. Kim and all her staff are always amazing and so good with my daughter. I love that they provide balloons, toys and even a popsicle to make her visits fun! I was very nervous about my daughter's visits, but this place put a nervous Mommy and child at ease. I know she's in the best hands here.

We took our granddaughter to a general dentist a couple months ago so she could start preschool. She wouldn't let them do xrays let alone open her mouth long enough to check her teeth. After looking at several children dentists we found My Dentist and Me. My granddaughter had to see the kids photos twice a day. She couldn't wait to go to the dentist because she said everyone is smiling. She was so excited to go and kept saying she had a cavity. She has no cavities and her teeth are perfect. We will definitely be coming back in 6 months for a check up.

It was our first time taking my daughter today and everyone was amazing. She had a great experience and said she looks forward to coming back, so that was a huge relief! We have to go back for a small procedure… but her doctor was so attentive and recommended that it be done another day so that my daughter didn’t leave unhappy her first time. I highly recommend this place. I also forgot to grab a form I left for them to fill out and before I could call them to ask for it they had already filled it out and emailed it to me!

I came to Dr. Kim at the advice of my pediatrician. Dr. Kim found 5 more cavities than the general dentist we initially consulted found. She explained everything thoroughly and gave us clear treatment options. The office is beautifully decorated with lots of distractions for the kids. My six year old daughter had her first treatment today and the language Dr. Kim used was magical. My daughter absolutely believed she was getting her teeth paint rainbow colors. Dr. Kim and her assistant worked together effortlessly with almost no communication between each other. I am really impressed with this practice
