Edenopolis events is a boutique catering company working in NYC as well as abroad. We offer beautiful grazing tables and home cooked comfort food for any type of gathering including weddings, corporate events, and intimate dinner parties. Our cuisine is a collection of home cooked recipes we have gathered from our travels around the world.
We create custom works of art with the theme and colors of your choice, and flowers are always included. For dinner and dessert, we love chef stations specializing in one dish done well like our pizza station where we bring our own oven, or slow cooked Texas BBQ on our wood pellet smoker. For outdoor events we are fully outfitted with a custom refrigerated catering unit which is fully self sufficient.

We are well known for making some of the most creative and beautiful grazing tables in the world. Overflowing with abundance, these centerpieces are typically eight feet long and include all display items as well as fresh cut flowers and high quality bamboo disposables.

Thanks so much to Richard and his team for making my birthday celebration so great. Richard and Kayauna were really helpful and responsive when we were arranging the event and trying to figure out how many ppl we had to feed, and ahead of the event Richard turned up early and helped us figure out how to set up the venue and make the night go really well. We went for a series of canapés, which were delicious. All the serving staff and barman did a really fantastic job. Thank you, Richard & team, we’ll definitely be in touch for our next event!

Collaborating with Chef Richard was an absolute pleasure. He put together a wonderful, customized event under a tight deadline (and on a holiday!) He was available for calls, emails, and texts 24/7 and was happy to answer all of my (many) questions. I contacted Richard from Edenopolis to cater my husband’s 40th dinner in our home and was completely blown away with the entire experience. I cannot recommend Richard enough. He catered a high-profile event for my father earlier this year and it was spectacular. Richard is easy to work with, professional, and ultra creative. He was prompt in communication and answered all of my questions (there were many!) in great detail.

Edenopolis did a Fantastic job catering our wedding on the East End of Long Island Sept 2017. Ricks knowledge of cuisine made it easy for us to decide what dishes to choose and he was able to create our exact request for dessert- three flavors of mini cupcakes that were absolutely delicious. I have had the pleasure of being at several of Chef Richard's events. Most recently, he catered a celebration of life gathering for my dearly departed father. He was kind, and compassionate about the situation throughout but maintained an upbeat attitude. It was obviously his goal to celebrate the life of my father in a positive way by cooking all of his favorite foods. We had crab cakes, seared bay scallops, a big cheese and meat table, a slow cooked beef and melted cheeseburger station (amazing think Abbie's sliced beef and cheese but better) and an ice cream bar. Richard is one of the few caterers that speak my language. As an event producer and experience designer it's a rare find to have someone so on your pace of health, taste, experience and variety. He has a real art of curating the best local ingredients and truly knows how to deliver a spectacular experience. I've worked with him on very VIP events for high end corporate clients and would hire him for personal events in a heart beat. Before I found Richard, it looked like the completely vegetarian wedding my husband and I required, that would also please the pickiest eaters in our families would be impossible. Other caterers would ignore my request and send proposals with meat in them or consisted entirely of just pasta and rice dishes and nothing else. It was incredibly frustrating.

Richard is amazing. I hired Chef Richard and his team for a surprise baby shower I hosted on my roof. He was so accommodating and thoughtful when it came to the menu and my guest's dietary restrictions. Richard worked with me on the overall pricing and understood my budget restraints. Richard is incredible!! Attended a private event where he was the chef and it was just delicious. He uses only organic locally sourced ingredients (as much as possible of course ), and transforms the ingredients incredibly! Thank you for a wonderful evening, it was fantastic. All of your dishes were fresh, flavorful and delicious. I'm glad we did the corn on the cob versus the corn salad, it was full of flavor and the pickled onions were a hit! The oysters were some of the best we've ever had and your homemade mignonette and cocktail sauces were the perfect compliment. The tomatoes in the salad were packed with so much flavor, they could have been eaten on their own.
