Little Stars Preschool
I am a teacher myself, and I noticed the rich learning environment even during my tour. Every indoor space is thoughtfully arranged and ready for children to engage in a variety experiences. As a parent, I appreciated the community they created. Both my children have attended Little Stars for over a year now.

We couldn't have picked a better place for them to be at. Mr. Louie and all the teachers are amazing to say the least. They care so much and are so invested in each child doing well. I love that they are being exposed to another language so early on. It's such an invaluable gift. They also focus on new concepts and letters weekly but they make it fun by doing art projects or hands on activities.
Services
It is the mission of Little Stars Preschool to nurture and encourage children to become lifelong learners. We focus on process learning which allows children to exercise their creative imagination through collaboration, perspective-taking, and negotiation. We value the children's creativity and want to allow space for the process of creativity itself.
Young children enter preschool with a sense of wonder and love of learning. At Little Stars we honor children by giving them the time and space they need to develop at their own pace in their own unique way. We use the following four guiding principles to engage children in learning: emergent curriculum, in-depth projects, representational development and collaboration.
One of the values we hold high is that of community and authentic relationships. Our philosophy is reflected in an environment that encircles the child with three "teachers". The first teacher-the parent-takes on the role of active partner and guide in the education of their child. The second is the classroom teacher who intentionally engages children in meaningful work, conversations and interactions.
Our classroom environment is created to support children's learning and reflect their interests. In constructing the classroom space, we intentionally create an environment that is enjoyable, warm and inviting to children. Great care is taken to construct an environment that encourages active exploration of various interests.
We believe that by providing children with an opportunity to connect with nature and a place to garden, we are fostering a love and respect connection to our planet. As children continuously explore with planting their favorite seeds, that will yield crops in their season, they take on the role of caretakers and with excitement and anticipation, they wait for harvest time.

Little Stars Preschool is an incredible environment for little ones. Their curriculum is rooted in the fundamentals, while allowing space for creative play. For example, they allow children to explore topics that are important to them through weekly themes the children can pick and supporting with themed books, vocabulary, and writing activities. The teachers and staff have a true calling for working with young children and you can tell they want to be there, doing what they are doing. So much about this school is undersold - from the Spanish my kids have picked up, to the inclusion of parents

My husband and I found out about Little Stars through our leasing agent. She sent her own kids there and couldn't stop raving about how awesome the school was. We decided to check it out and we fell in love! Little Stars was the perfect match for our family and especially our daughter. She thrived so much under the care of the teachers and the directors. She woke up every morning excited to go to school and see her friends and she would come home singing songs in Spanish. We unfortunately had to put her in another preschool because we moved out of the area and we are still heartbroken! We

We miss Little Stars preschool so much! This is a safe, nurturing environment for young children. The teachers and directors go to great lengths to create a language rich learning environment that is respectful of the diversity of learners. I had two girls at Little Stars, a two-year-old and a four-year-old and they blossomed in the environment. They loved going to school with their friends and teachers and engaged in a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities. The school has four playgrounds and beautifully designed classrooms. I cannot say enough about this preschool. It is truly

Little Stars is just a gem. We currently have our three boys here (2,3 and 4yo). Our 4yo started 15 months ago and it has been amazing since day 1. Just beyond everything you could imagine.
Everyday they explore, play, discover, laugh and learn more than ever. The kids are going to school with a smile and coming home even happier. At little Stars, they have beautiful spaces (a community garden where they grow veggies, a beach playground, so many ateliers) and loving teachers.
Unfortunately the school had to close for a few weeks because of COVID. They reopened 19 weeks ago, with new safety mesures

My son adored his time at Little Stars, I only wish we could have taken them with us when we moved. I am a teacher myself, and I noticed the rich learning environment even during my tour. Every indoor space is thoughtfully arranged and ready for children to engage in a variety experiences. In each room there are at least 4 distinct areas for different sorts of play, so conflicts are easier to avoid during free play, but children as young as 2 are also taught to sit together during circle time for stories or a lesson about colors. The outdoor spaces are cleverly divided into several distinct

Enrolling my son in Little Stars Preschool is the best decision I could have ever made as a parent thus far. My son is supported by the staff and they made his first transition into a school setting so easy. My son was not quite fully potty trained when he started but by a few months in he became fully potty trained. He is also so independent and is learning each day to feel comfortable in his own skin. The staff listen to any concerns you might have as a parent and they do their best to promptly address your concerns. I am so grateful that my husband and I made the decision to send our beautiful

This school was beyond amazing. Although it is not posted as an immersion school, the Spanish speaking teachers encourage the students to speak their native tongue or help them learn Spanish as well. They are a warm welcoming, organized, respectful group of teachers who have a passion for these kids like it were their own. We were very sad to leave this school but they made the transition to kindergarten very easy. All the teachers are amazing, but the owner and his wife bring the compassion to this school every day.

I can't express enough that the teachers are amazing!! Teacher Ruth and

I will miss you all at little stars. If your looking for great child care please don't pass up this school. This school has taught my daughter so much and her cognitive skills are through the roof. All of the teacher's here are welcoming and friendly. The teachers are very patient and persistent with the children. The teacher's worked with my husband and I to potty train my daughter. The director's Mr and Mrs. Morales are phenomenal and are very understanding people. Even the children here are well-behaved and very friendly. They have 3 play areas and now have three class rooms

Our youngest attended preschool here for 2 years. The teachers are so warm and loving and it reflects on the children. Our little one made so many great friends while he was there... the parents are great too! The school has a real sense of community. I just wish I had know about this school when my older kids went to preschool. I could have avoided the extra driving miles to the Westside and all that extra money. My son just started TK about a month ago now and he still tells me that he misses his old school, his friends and his teachers. We love Little Stars!!!!

My son attended the school since he was 2 before he was fully potty trained. Ms Matti and teachers are all helpful through his potty training. He grew a lot mentally, gained confidence and ready for kindergarten. I highly recommend the school to everybody.

My son is in his second year at Little Stars. I cannot speak highly enough, nor give enough praise, to communicate to you the quality of the work done by Mr. Louie and the teachers. They care very much about the students and it shows! My son tells me how much he loves his teachers all the time. His vocabulary has blossomed and I love that they are introducing Spanish to their curriculum.

The school is kept clean. I love that they provide hot cooked meals.

This was the first preschool my son has attended since recently turning 2 years old.
The staff is great, and very friendly. You can tell they have your little ones best interests in my mind. They do story time, arts & crafts, and also plenty of playtime. They also feed the children nutritional meals. The director, Mr. Louis has also been great with sending me pictures, and keeping me updated with my boy's development.

Little Stars is a family owned and operated preschool. Little Stars has a warm, safe, nurturing environment where my daughter flourished. She made friends, did artwork, learned to write her name and the alphabet, learned about the parts of the eye, went on field trips, etc. The teachers are excellent and have been there a long time, attesting to their love for their work. Food is cooked on site and served to the children. The pick up and drop off hours are flexible--great for working parents. Plus the cost is extremely reasonable compared to what I heard other parents pay at other preschools

I can't say enough about Little Stars preschool. Our daughter entered when she was just turning 2. We had been to 9 tours already. Usually when we toured a school our kiddo would stay with us as we walked around and spoke to the teachers. She didn't really engage or touch things, etc. We thought she was withdrawing because she was in unfamiliar surroundings. But as soon as we walked into Little Stars she pulled away from us and started playing with other kids and exploring on her own. I started tearing up. She had chosen her preschool.

Since her enrollment we are constantly reaffirmed

There is the perfect balance of play and academics.
In addition to this, there are home cooked lunches that smell delicious during morning drop-off!
My son, who is 3 years old, is always eager to go to school and loves his teachers and the friends he has made.
I can't recommend Little Stars enough!

My three year old son attended Little Stars Preschool and absolutely loved it. The staff and teachers are so kind, caring, and knowledgable. He made so many new friends, had so much fun, and loved it so much that he never wanted to come home! I loved seeing all the precious artwork that he came home with and always looked forward to helping him with his homework (basic matching, number, letter and pattern recognition, beginning writing).

I promptly received a call when my son experienced a nose bleed (he gets them a lot) and when he bumped his head while playing outside on their playground. They

My daughter went here for just over a year, and she would still be going here if we didn't move all the way to the east coast. We couldn't afford a "pricey" school, and after hearing good things and touring Little Stars Preschool, we made no hesitation to enroll our daughter. She was a bit over 2 years old when she started, and she's definitely grew a lot here.

A lot of preschools require the students be proficiently potty trained (or make you pay extra in some circumstances if they aren't), but Little Stars did not have that requirement. I think it helped my daughter
