Went here tonight for a friend’s birthday the food was horrible took an hour to get. My plate came out and had a horrible smell to it. Decided to try it the risotto was completely uncooked and presentation was horrible. Me and my husband had to send our meals back after waiting an hour and left with no meal and no drink or appetizer compt! Will never go back!!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Took my husband to Saratoga Springs to celebrate his birthday and selected Chianti for his birthday dinner. It's a nice place, good location. Good service, although we asked for more bread 3 times and never got it. The food? Well, the menu is pretty small. I selected a cappellini with shrimp in some kind of creamy sauce. It was good but bland. My husband got the bolognese and wasn't impressed. For appetizers we had a bruschetta special which was whipped burrata, butternut squash and pepitas - it was good but again lacking salt. And we had a salad with seared romaine - my husband

When you write a review of your bad experience. And bad food and the restaurant responds back asking you to contact them back. My wife and I make an attempt and they never reach out to you. I just had to downgrade them further.
Attached below was my original review......
Was excited to try this place during saratoga restaurant week. The restaurant week has a 3 course meal for $25 or $35 across multiple restaurants. With multiple restaurants to go to week picked 3 restaurants to try out. With great ratings on Google (4.5), facebook (4.6) and yelp had the lowest when compared to the other 2 (4

My husband and I went out for a date night yesterday and Chianti was the restaurant of choice. We had a 7pm reservation, arrived 5 minutes early and were seated immediately. Our waitress was prompt to take our drink and appetizer order. The service the entire dinner was absolutely impeccable. The food, absolutely delicious. I have not a single complaint about Chianti’s. The owners should be proud of their restaurant staff for their hard work and the delicious food they produced!

First timer in Saratoga Springs, we had a friend host their rehearsal dinner here. The ambiance was untouchable, the restaurant staff was so welcoming we decided to grab a drink at the bar. I grabbed a glass of wine and my boyfriend got a beer. The wine was outstanding, when we got to our table the bread, appetizers and dinner we ordered were tasty and I could tell these were family recipes. If you are looking for a place to eat and you are not a local please consider this amazing bistro.

This restaurant is very loud, so much so that you can lose your voice trying to have a conversation. However, they have a very comfortable outside seating area that is covered and heated. It's quiet and cozy.
We tried the Pasta Bolognaise and it was really bland. However the rest of the dishes were quite good.
The highlight was the New World Bourbon which is the best I've ever tasted. They add a touch of port to the bourbon...please try it!

We came here last minute after a day at the race track after being denied from the rude hostess desk at Solevo. We're so glad we ended up here instead! Our waiter John was attentive and fast and suggested great dishes. Best penne alla vodka I've ever had at a restaurant. The meatballs were a delicious appetizer as well. 10/10

I usually come to Chianti with others (out of town folks) since I live on the other side of town (I walk everywhere..). It's definitely the best of the DZ group of eateries...still a bit on the corporate end (gift cards etc..and pictures of their menu options on the website is just tacky) but they have a niche of Northern Italian, which in the Northeast is generally hard to find (much less red saucy and much more seafood..). Actually quite innovative considering this town has a lot of "safe-touristy" dining options for the Marty McGillicuddy and Rocco Cementhead of Massepequa/Floral

Came back to Saratoga springs for a visit after a couple of years and very glad we didn't skip Chianti. The pasta and risotto were both exquisite, perfect textures and flavors. The cream puff dessert was lighter than expected and a great surprise. I'm pregnant so had a Shirley Temple and it's delicious as well. My husband enjoyed his cocktail as well but I forgot to take a pic of it

A truly enjoyable dinner with the family the other night.
Wine by the glass selections could use some tweaking, and I would have preferred wild salmon over farm raised, but other than that, really nothing to quibble with.
Atmosphere here has somehow suffered less from Covid restrictions than at other comparable restaurants; we will return!

We decided to come here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday while on vacation from NJ because we really wanted to have a nice, fine dining experience and it was everything and more!
We originally booked an 8:45pm reservation (because that's all they had left), but our table wasn't ready when we arrived 5 minutes early so we waited around a while and they decided to offer us seating at the bar around 9pm because they close at 10pm and they didn't want to rush us to eat. We were a little disappointed because we wanted to have a nice romantic table for 2 for this special night, but we settled for

Tonight was the first time I had even been to Chianti's and from the reviews, it did not disappoint. I had a reservation for 7pm and I arrived 5 minutes early and the hostess sat us immediately. I was suprising to see the kitchen staff cooking right in front of us as we walked in. The ambiance was vibrant yet soft. The staff was phenomenal and very Knowledgeable of the menu. I had the Filet Rizzoto and she had the Pork Osso Bucco. The meals were very well prepared and plated. The beverages were just as good she had the Raspberry Lemondrop Martini and I had the Cityscape. Must go Restaurant for

If I had to pick my favorite, fancy date night spot in Saratoga, this would be it. We've been in during the day, and in the evening and it's atmosphere is perfection no matter the hour.
In the afternoon the big windows offer wonderful light, and while the view isn't amazing, being buildings outside, it's still so pretty. In the evening, the lights are down low, and the romantic vibe is dialed up. The tables can be close together, but not enough to make it uncomfortable. The table in the far corner under the tree is my favorite, but really, it's just beautiful and intimate
