Classy Italian food with an Adirondack cabin themed vibe in a quaint room. Happy hour specials are banging (4:30-6:30), so get there early since the restaurant typically fills up quickly.

The waiter was very nice. Unfortunately, the food was really very underwhelming. Worst presentation of meatballs.. I was embarrassed I suggested here when my guest received her meal. We all had a good time anyway. The restaurant was very clean staff very polite. Just not impressed with the recipes and the presentation.

Service was awesome after a small hick up in the beginning (bread with no olive oil) we got calamari for an app but it seemed to be over fried and lacking a little flavor. Our apple old fashioneds were awesome and very tasty. And the main course was a little delayed but our server was straight with us on the ticket being lost but he caught it quickly and our food was pretty quick to come out afterwards and or was very tasty! Great selection of desserts but we were much to full to even think about getting any. We will be back for sure!

The butternut squash gnocchi was really good. Maple cream sauce was flavorful and a good pairing. My suggestion would be to make the gnocchi smaller, they were too large and too dense as the size overpowered this dish. I would have liked more Brussels sprouts. The crispy pancetta also good. Hope the chef balances out this nice dish with better balanced components.

Everyone agreed that this was one of the best meals we had in Saratoga springs. From the salad, to the pizza, eggplant and pasta...truly terrific meals It was cooked and seasoned very well. We dined outdoors on a beautiful evening. Our server and table setter were so friendly. I highly recommend Forno Bistro for vegetarians and meat eaters.

Incredible service!!!!! Our waiter, Michael, was super attentive and his dry sense of humor kept us laughing. Food was great. We had two steak specials, frutti di mare and penne Toscane. Everything was wonderful!

Hit the spot for the Italian food everyone was looking for. I got with the mezzanine Otero, and it came out great, all 10 orders at our table came out correct as well. Server was polite and personable. Had a late dinner for a bachelor party, and might have been slightly underdressed but they didn't seem to mind. Lot of interesting decorative metal and woodwork in the restaurant. Would come back again!

Excellent restaurant. Staff was awesome and accommodating. We had an infant and they were terrific. Not an issue what so ever, but we did our part to entertain our child like you are supposed too. Food was great as well.

The food was really great, my table got the antipasto sampler and it was more than enough for the 4 of us. My meal, the mezzanine otero, was also really tasty. My only complaint was that they sat us next to the section of the restaurant where all of the staff stands around, so we had waiters and hosts constantly walking and hanging out next to our table. Also, you probably should make a reservation.

We had a reservation and were promptly seated. The tables are quite small and very close to each other. We shared a salad which was massive, i took 1/2 home. I had the salmon special which was overwhelming salty. My partner had clams and linguine which oddly was cooked with green peppers and overwhelmed the garlic and oil flavor. Our server was knowledgeable and very pleasant.

I ate here while in Saratoga Springs for work. It was busy when I arrived but I was greeted promptly and seated out on the patio area. My waitress was friendly and did a wonderful job explaining the specials. I went with the Pera pizza and finished the meal with a cannoli. Both were excellent!

Update...
Went for a dinner last night and it was fantastic! Went with our 6 year old and they have a decent kids menu. I had the Pollo Panato (pictured) and it was absolutely amazing!

We had a gift certificate to dine here or at other restaurants owned by the same company in the area. The others were closed so this was our obvious choice. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night and we would have benefited from a reservation despite the fact that "open table", indicating no reservation needed, was the website and Yelp description. By far, the best part of our dining experience was the food. The complimentary bread and oil was delicious (I don't usually indulge in complimentary bread but was so hungry after our wait!). Our calamari app was decent and our meals

Recommended by guy at front desk of my hotel, was right across the street. Just finished a long drive. Read reviews, gave it a shot, glad I did. Had two apps, the gazpacho and the white bean and shrimp. Delicious. Great outdoor seating and good service.

Recently, my husband organized a small surprise birthday dinner for me here, at Forno Bistro. The ambiance is gorgeous! Our server was so accommodating! I ordered the Fruiti de Mare, a classic dish! However, they made it with a perfect creamy Alfredo sauce for me! They also served the cake my husband brought it. I highly recommend this place. It seems like a great date night location.

In town for the Jazz festival we made an advance reservation, a definite must, for the patio area. The outside is great while the inside is a bit noisy. The special salad, bib lettuce with walnuts, bacon and cheese dressing was pricey ($16) and a bit disappointing. The octopus entree was also pricey ($36) and not cooked quite right (mushy), wehad better at many other places. My special of scallops and clams in a spicy red sauce over black squid ink pasta was fantastic! $33 and worth every bite. Service (Justin) was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The fresh bread with olive oil was good.

Packed tight, we jumped on two barstools and ordered classic cocktails which were brought promptly and in chilled glasses. Skidmore girls with their dates and Daddy's credit cards, along with the local beautiful people were in a feeding frenzy, inhaling penne and linguini, red sauce, draft beer and pink vodka libations. Non-traditional antipasto at the bar was good- loved the rice balls, cured meats, and mozzarella. Left the calamari behind for the cat. The focaccia was delish.... Didn't stick around for a plate. Next time and I'll update

Back again and again...and again it&apos

I'll have to revisit this place and try out some additional items as the few we tried we quite enjoyed. I liked their small craft beer draft lineup (I had a Chatham Brewing company IPA called the Nor Eastah that weighed in at 6.5 abv and had a real nice hoppy exit--it also rates well on Beer Advocate if that's your thing) as it included Druther's Fist of Karma ale and Ommegang Nirvana IPA as well as a Fat Tire pour, Switchback, Peroni and several other quality selections (no Labatt's type or Coors Light on tap here though they do have lots of bottles from which to choose).

Love, love, love Forno Bistro. One of our favorite restaurants for dinner or happy hour. They are conveniently located in Saratoga on Broadway. They just renovated and opened up and enlarged the bar and it looks great. With this upgrade, they've also done nice job expanding the craft cocktails and beer offerings.

There is indoor seating as well as elegant outdoor dining.

Inside, it has a comfortable, rustic italian/adirondack feel. Happy hour at the bar is a bargain with great selections of deals on cocktails, beers on tap, and wines and small plates (e.g., calamari, bolognese,
