In a city steeped in tradition, from its historic healing spas to the horses, there is only one family owned restaurant that has endured for over 80 incredible, edible years. Panza's bakery opened its doors in Mechanicville in 1897. That was the first time Upstate New York experienced the delicious Neapolitan style brick oven baked pizza and other secret family recipes our relatives brought with them from the old country.
Ma Panza and her husband Joseph were unable to speak English when they first arrived from Napoli, so they allowed their cooking to do the talking for them. Did it ever. Everyone in the neighborhood was talking about this new baking sensation called, "Pizza.".

Terrific atmosphere. Jazz band in the lounge for a pre-dinner drink were fantastic. Dinner was amazing. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive. Had a great great night with friends! Highly recommend. Suggest making reservations on weekend. Evenings.

After enjoying the old Panza's on the Lake for many years this is no resemblance. Good service, fine ambience and that is it. Shrimp Alexander dry! And three shrimp for 17.00! The entrees were barely mediocre..not remotely what one would expect from the Panza name. And, a six entree menu.! We will never return...very sad.

We had dinner on spur of the moment. Only based on other reviews. It was absolutely AMAZING! The bartender, Stephen, was great and attentive. We had the fig and burrata appetizer. Then, the scallops with sweet pea infused risotto and a bacon infused jam. Also, the Rigatoni with sausage red cream sauce (Pasta al a Michael). Every bite better than the next. Our only disappointment was we ordered the Canoli Cake to go, but unfortunately we ended up with Canolis instead.

So Tonight Jana Marie, and I, had Dinner at an AMAZING Restaurant, and had the most AMAZING Server, Lindsey Elizabeth at Panzas Saratoga ! The food was completely outstanding, and was clearly authentic Italian. Let's not forget the ambiance, with the Pianist playing Frank Sinatra, and Friends songs, in the background, which completed an already Fantastic experience, and definitely in the Top Few Restaurants, that is an absolute....MUST go AGAIN !!! If you are either in Saratoga, or even close, this is definitely worth a visit. Be certain, to request Lindsey Elizabeth as your Server, and your Evening

We spent Thanksgiving at Panza's! The food and ambience was great! The only issue was our waitress. She was rushing, not very polite and forgot my nephews drink four times. She would get annoyed every time he… would remind her. Then she forgot my brothers drink twice. It was so annoying. My nephew didn't get his drink until we were eating the main course! It was really frustrating. I'm giving them a high score anyway because they are a great restaurant. And we will definitely go back. However, you might want to speak to your waitress. She was frustrating and kind of rude. Thank you for a
