My commitment to you is rooted in a very personal experience; nearly losing my connection to family photographs. I have been involved in photography most of my life, but doing family portrait photography became my personal mission when I was forced to relocate to San Antonio 15 years ago and realized that I was totally cut off from my family's visual legacy.

A Masterpiece Oil begins life as a photographic capture similar to our Signature Color portraits but thats just the beginning. The first step on the journey to a Masterpiece Oil commission is very similar to our Signature Color portraits; a consultation and photographic session where candidate images are created for you to make your selection for your painting.
Professional photography will instantly up your game, increase impact to potential clients and improve your bottom line. Our studio features a private changing area to allow you wardrobe changes and pre-session touch ups. When you arrive, we will spend a few minutes discussing what you are looking for in your photo, how you intend to use it and the image you wish to portray.

We are so happy with our portraits! Shannon has been wonderful communicating with zoom meetings and session information and it's been a safe and seamless interaction in the midst of COVID. Hayward and Shannon couldn't have been kinder from the first zoom meeting, to our studio session and then the final product reveal. I seriously can not say enough great things about this place....and more so the owners, Hayward and Shannon and their assistant Bella. Their attention to detail and artistry is amazing and both me and my kids loved working with them.
