The atmosphere, music, and food were definitely on point! My sister had the steak bites w/fries and I tried them. The steak was tender and flavorful. The fries were ok. I had the lobster bites, veggie egg rolls, lamb chops, and the german chocolate tower. My boyfriend had the catfish and fries along with a side salad. His catfish was delicious. It's cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. The salad looked good and was a big salad.

I went here for dinner with my best friend. It was very difficult finding parking on Livernois. As far as dinner went, I ordered the lobster bites because everyone who's been here loved them. I was disappointed. There were 5 little balls of fried lobster with fries for $23. I was still hungry. My friend had the wings. I wouldn't order those unless you're a fan of jumbo wings. The drinks are good and strong, the spinach dip was great. We had a very pleasant and attentive waitress.

This little place was off the chain. Great music, very pleasant and accommodate staff and Great favorable and tasty food. I tried the shrimp and grits my 1st experience and it melted in my mouth. I would absolutely/definitely recommend this place for any time of the day. Very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. One of the best eateries/restaurants/bars, I had the pleasure of visiting during my 3 1/2 weeks visit to the Motor City (Detroit). Also in a great location with Indoor or Outdoors seating options. 👍😁😋🍻🦐🍪🍹

The service was wonderful at this establishment. Very polite staff and if I could guess, our waiter checked on us every 10 minutes. Walked into brunch at 1:30 and didn't have to wait to be seated. The DJ played a ton of timeless R&B tracks that many love and appreciate. I had a cranberry mimosa for the first time and loved the bitter taste. They offer a strawberry and pineapple mimosa as well. The French toast is sweet and fluffy and the bacon met my expectations as far as crispness level. The shrimp and grits were cheesy and creamy but needed onions, peppers and scallions. Our server was delightful, friendly and perfect guide for the evening. We went there wanting to try some of the sides and apps. Their drink list seemed underwhelming but when we received our drinks we were actually quite surprised how unique and delicious it was. My husband commented that he was surprised that the prices were higher than we expected for appetizers, then the server informed us that what we were ordering actually came with fries and if we wanted to substitute we could with no up charge. Well where do I start? My first visit was good besides the over cooked shrimp in my seafood boil bag. My experience was good so I decided to come back. This time on my second visit was totally different. When we arrived were seated immediately. The waitress took our drink orders but it took a while for them to come. I ordered the lobster and shrimp grill cheese as recommended by the waitress.
The sandwich was terrible with barely any filling and DRY for $21, no ma’am. I asked the waitress to take it back she said she would have to ask the manager. The waitress took about 15 minutes to come back

I will never eat here again. My brunch order never came out after 3 hours. We sat for 30 mins just to be greeted by a waitress and that was after I went in and asked multiple times to meet my waitress. We… asked for a pitcher of water because it’s 95 degrees and we were told the pitchers were dirty. Worst time ever and we requested to speak with a manager who never showed up to my table or offered an apology. Get this place a customer service class ASAP or better yet close down.

The location was dope and so was the overall vibe and the food was good. Did not like our wait staff. She left us sitting for like 20 when we got there, then took forever between each thing, never brought us a drink menu and then charged us $10 for a side of Mac n cheese (if she would’ve said there was no sides that would’ve been cool). We’d go again but would not sit in her section again. Felt like the prices didn’t match the service 😒

So, maybe it was an off night but had THE WORST experience here. Went on a Thursday night, seated around 8:20. Takes awhile to order. Waitress told us (after we waited 15 minutes to place an order) that the dinner menu wasn't available, only a bar menu. Ordered steak bites from the bar menu and requested them to be prepared medium. Waitress brings out lukewarm food with super well done bites. Send them back. THEN she comes back and said the kitchen was closed. Seriously! Left at 9:30pm, starving and upset. Will not be back

• Received only one actual plate with our appetizer along with a broken saucer (apparently they were out of clean plates???)
• Received a disappointing amount of lobster on my rather wet $23 lobster roll and

We attended a party. Although Khyla, young lady with blonde hair & heavy guy with lime green shoes, were all overwhelmed, they did an excellent job servicing everyone in/out side the bar/restaurant.
My only issue or concern is within the kitchen. I received a salad in a cracked bowl. That dish should have never made it to a table. My piece of salmon was extra small, at least it was tasty. Drinks are definitely over priced. But they have rent to pay.
It was laid back. The music needs to be on one station for the entire area. It was two different types of music being played, makes no sense.

The food is REALLY delicious and presents very well. The service is pretty good, the decor is nice and management was friendly. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because NONE of the kitchen staff wear masks, not one person in the kitchen had nose or mouth covered. Had I not had both vaccines I wouldn't have had dinner there. Parking is on the street so I parked 2 blocks down which wasn't an issue because the weather was nice.

This was the worst food and service I've ever experienced! It's way too many black businesses I can support. This one isn't it. I dare u to visit. U will never eat! We arrived at 7pm for reservation party n didn't get food until 9pm. Never got our drinks. We walked over to the bar n served ourselves drinks. Food was dry. Servers was too drunk. Kept eating n the back n dropping stuff. Our waitress tells us "ooh gurl try this drink I jus had it" but it never came. The bill was too high fir the bad service. They ran out of silver ware too.

Had a pleasant early dinner on the rooftop. Ahjai J's service was great. She makes good recommendations and is patient and prompt. I had the Po-Boy Grouper and it was delicious. The martini was also delicious. I look forward to tasting more from the menue. It's nice to see activity on the Avenue. It's fun to hang out down there and support local businesses. I look forward to more coming back.

Definitely the vibe Fashion Avenue needs!! On warm day you can't beat the atmosphere. There's outdoor seating on the rooftop as well as the patio area out front. The food was delicious, my favorite dishes were the fried lobster bites, lobster mac and potatoes. They also serve #UncleNearest which is WIN 💪🏾💪🏾! They usually have dope playlists spinning too.

Nothing spectacular. Two burgers and fries cost $38.69!! The fries are like steak fries, but imagine then much much thinner. Did not like it. The burger seems like a combination of not trying hard enough to make the flavors works, but also trying to hard to make it fancy. All in all, if you can't make a decent burger I don't trust the rest of the menu. Work on your prices for the quality of the food. And sprinkling dried parsley doesn't make them good, seasoned fries. At least a dash of salt.

Soooo, this is my second time coming. The first time was a private event it was nice. I love the lay out, outside option, and drinks. Nice, limited menu. This time though our party of 12, book club, gathering was so lack luster. They were very nice but unprepared for our reservation as they had a large 90-yo party with 60+ people on the main floor. Our area was not ready. We were sent upstairs to wait. Like I said they were trying but you need to determine if you're restaurant or a booking hall. Most in our group had been there for double & triple booked events before. They need to work

As always, I go to a restaurant for two things: GOOD food and GOOD SERVICE. Well, I didn't have a good time at Good Times. We waited 25 minutes for one drink and another ten minutes for my companions drink to come out afterwards. 1) Drink order was wrong. 2) 10 minutes later the bartender came over with an attitude to give me the corrected drink and said I will wait to see if it is right. I would have been fine with her showing concern but she never apologized nor conveyed a pleasant demeanor. Service is nonexistent. The food is good. Appetizer and main course all served at the same time. It took 15 minutes for server to take cocktail order. Then an additional 20 minutes to get cocktails. The server never came over to explain or apologize for this dereliction of service. I have written the owners and still waiting for their reply.

This spot recently opened on the Avenue of Fashion(Livernois btwn 7 mile road & 8 mile road) in Detroit. Right now they are only open on the weekends Friday through Sunday, the hours vary. Currently there is a major construction situation on Livernois so prepare yourself to have to find parking. Hopefully once the construction is done and business increases they will be open more.
