Great place for pizza. I read somewhere this place was voted best Pizza in Michigan? I know I have been coming to Shields since I was in high school and they have never disappointed. Unfortunately I only took a pic of the pasta ordered 😕. Go figure when we had an array of pizza on the table. Smh 😔😐. It was delicious!

The pizza was incredible. Their product is really authentic in a non-mass-produced sort-of-way and the cost was economical without considering the quality. Then the aesthetic of the pizzeria-bar was equally pleasing, please imagine me waiting for my order in a mansion/haunted house made all the more dream-like due to the fact I was the only one there. Should this fact have been a concern to me? Maybe if I was superstitious. Walked in , it took server 30 min to , come to table , when she arrived at table she was rude and rushing us to order . Food came out , my burger was undercooked! The owner takes my plate says the burger is fine , looks at it with no mask breathes on the food and places it back on the table , i re -state my issue
And he walks away , the sever never returned to the table , and was completely rude .

Shields offers amazing lunch deals and delicious, fresh food overall! The lunch specials are big in portion and are filling or good enough to eat half and save the other half (I got the margherita pizza and house salad). The chicken tenders and fries are also delicious! Highly recommend!! The staff is friendly and welcoming!

The people are friendly as ever the pizza was just ok. My chicken was tough. And I’m very sure if I ate pork. It would’ve been the bomb 💣 the crust was on point. The atmosphere was nostalgic. I would go back just for the feel of the bar and the people. The walk is kinda long no parking lot only on the side of the building
