We loved the house! We had a fantastic time there, and I can't think of a single thing that would have made the experience better. Communications were excellent; friendly and informative- I didn't even need to ask any questions since everything was so well spelled out. I can't say enough good things about the home.
It's beautifully appointed and the pictures posted online are absolutely representative. It looked so good online, I was afraid it might not live up to the pictures, but it did- and then some! Our properties are located throughout San Diego's 3 most historic and charming neighborhoods: Little Italy, Mission Hills, and Banker's Hill. While these neighborhoods are unique from each other it's what they share in common that makes them so fun to stay in: architectural diversity, thriving commercial districts, and unforgettable character!
We are located in the Mission Hills neighborhood, which is quaint and quiet, yet nestled in the center of the city, with immediate access to just about everything. The trolley services everything from downtown and convention center to Old town to the Mexican border. A network of town cars that you can order from your smart phone and they arrive within minutes.
Most of our units have dedicated "on-property" parking spots. Those that do not are in areas with ample street parking most of the year (some holidays/high seasons excepted). You will receive parking instructions in your pre-arrival package. Most of our units are approximately only a 10-minute drive to Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, and Pacific Beach.
In order to confirm your reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount, taxes and fees. The remaining 50% of the reservation total is due 30 days prior to arrival. For security deposit all we require is the purchase of a damage protection policy which provides $1500 of coverage for accidental damage.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! It was super clean, well stocked and perfect for 2 families with plenty of room. The view was amazing and we all loved watching the airplanes take off and land. The location is perfect, very close to the airport, park, zoo and downtown. The planes can be a little noisy but it really didn’t bother us at all and we slept in everyday. This is an amazing home! Thanks for the memories!

We were in San Diego for a conference and this house was perfect for the 3 of us. It was located within a 10 min drive to the convention center. We had rented a car for one day of our stay and had no trouble finding a parking space. The house has everything you need and more during your stay. Mahalo for a great stay.

Our stay with Rental With a View was absolutely great! The property is very clean, modern, and comfortable, and the location cannot be beat - easy access to many of the attractions in San Diego. And they are not kidding - what a view!! The staff and owner were responsive to our needs and very helpful throughout our time there. We wouldn't hesitate to visit them again. Five stars, plus!

The place has a great view and everything is near by so don’t need to drive much.
Only thing I would recommend people to know about before coming is the noise you will have to deal with.
You can hear the upstairs people walking and can hear the flushes.
Since it is near the airport, you will hear the planes and can be very loud. The sound proof window helps but still able to hear it!
If you are a light sleeper like my father in law, you can have a hard time sleeping.
Outside of the that, the owner is accommodating and quick to respond via text! I would def recommend this place!

Great location and views of San Diego. Our group of 4 found the views of the airport at night mesmerizing. The hot tub and other amenities were fantastic. Very clean and well kept rental. We experienced excellent communication with the rental owner/manger. Would definitely recommend

Such an amazing place! Everything has been thought of and provided for. We did quite a bit of cooking and found the cupboards well stocked with spices, utensils and cookware. We even found a cooler in the closet that had an icepak in the freezer for day trips. The decor is beautiful. However, the very best part of this location is the gorgeous back yard that is completely fenced in. We spent almost all of our time sitting out in the pergola, the hot tub, the putting green, or just hanging out. It was great for morning coffee or late night chats. You can only be in the backyard up until 10 due to

The view from this rental was excellent! Our family really enjoyed the fact that we could relax on the patio and have an AMAZING view of the fireworks over the bay on the 4th! We could also see the nightly fireworks from Sea World. It’s definitely very close to the airport, but we actually enjoyed watching the planes. And the airport noise inside the house was minimal. The rental house was also very centrally located to everything we had on our list of San Diego sites. Overall it worked great for our family of 5 adults and 1 teen.

We loved this house, the airplane noise was no big deal, you cant hear them at all when your in bed and we enjoyed watching them in the morning on the deck drinking our coffee. The jacuzzi was awesome this was my 1# thing I had to have, and I got a bonus because I was able to watch Sea Worlds Fireworks while soaking. Everything was well stocked.

So i Booked a trip durning the pandemic December 2020 and San Diego went on shut down. I booked the house near little Italy and the city went on shut down a week before our stay. I called the manager and told her i won't be able to make because everything was on complete locked down . We also booked during the weekend of New Years which is a huge weekend. And i kindly called the manager and told her we aren't going to be able to make due to the close down. She forgivingly with 100% kindness gave us a 100% refund on all our money. I truly was thankful. Kindness like this needs to be shared

We rented both units on State Street San Diego and the place was great. It is close to the airport but the noise is NOT too bad and both of the units are amazing! The house is well kept, the inside on both units are up to date, modern and current, both decks are a great area to gather with family on. Lastly the property Managers Daniel and Dana were absolutely great. Our time with Room With A View was awesome & we look forward to coming back next year. Thank You Rental With A View, Daniel & Dana!
