We were considering selling some estate jewelry and while making the rounds I made an appointment with Amit at Verma; no idea what to expect. WHAT A PLEASURE!! He was intensely knowledgeable about each piece; he offered information on the origins and places to sell the pieces he couldn't use and gave a really good price on what he could - I visited a number of places around midtown (all good by the way, truthfully) but for time spent v/s knowledge gained payoff, Amit was the real deal in customer service and I was very impressed. Extremely great to work with and worth a visit for sure!

What a pleasure to deal with Amit. Today I brought in several pieces of jewelry. He was knowledgeable about the values and advised me honestly on what pieces would not bring a decent profit. I had a 2.2 carat stone/2.5 carat baguette designer ring that had been on consignment elsewhere for 2 years. Amit is connected with websites which will give the ring better exposure to potential buyers.

Verma is without a doubt your best option for jewelry, especially engagement rings. Amit and Abha are an absolute pleasure to work with. They differ from any competitor in at least three key ways. First, they are palpably more genuine than any other garden-variety jeweler. Most other jewelers I visited were possessed of such a saccharine schtick that I found every word untrustworthy. We spent a good part of this afternoon with Amit Verma at Verma Group. We went largely to get his thoughts as to the values of certain pieces for insurance purposes but had not really thought about selling. We started with 2 vintage pocket watches. He knew a great deal about them but also called a friend who knew more as these are special and unique.
