I can't recommend Apthorp highly enough. Bill at Apthorp went above and beyond to assist me with fertility meds during my cycle of IVF- I was in a medication quandary, and he helped me trouble shoot and stayed a few mins after closing to make sure I had what I needed. The personalized care, professionalism, response time, prices, and problem solving prowess that I received from Apthorp are beyond compare. I would not go anywhere else for my fertility meds and I recommend them with full heart.

The care of the pharmacists here is really fantastic. They recently ran a vaccine clinic and it was so fast and easy. I was in and out quickly and it was very organized. I went to Dr. Langro for my vaccine and he made it painless! It’s nice to have personalized care like this. Can’t recommend enough - plus it’s a local business and I’d much rather support them as part of our community!

I get my prescriptions filled here, despite there being a Duane Reade nearby.  This is a family-owned pharmacy with better products and better service.  While the selection is small (it's not a huge place) you feel that their selection is carefully selected and what they sell is excellent quality.
I was really sick once last year and they delivered, even in the middle of COVID.  They're caring and reliable.  This is also where I got vaccinated.  Thank you to this New York City GEM!

This was with out a doubt the only way I was able to get through the fertility process to freeze my eggs. Jordan, the pharmacist I mainly dealt with, went above and beyond anyone’s expectations. He literally hand delivered medication I needed quickly, as we live in the same neighborhood. I don’t think I could have done it without his helped. Every talked me through my first day of injections. Delivery was easy and seem less from the couriers too and the text system made everything quick and easy. Highly recommend!

I want to first start off by saying that the entire staff at Apthorp pharmacy are wonderful, efficient, and friendly, but this review is specifically for the pharmacist, Jordan.
My husband and I were going through some fertility treatments that were beyond stressful and Jordan was a source of calm and joy and took so much stress away from the entire process. 5 stars truly isn't enough to give the Apthorp Pharmacy. In an incredibly urgent time of need with a very short window of time to make it happen, Jordan -- the wonderful pharmacist at Apthorp, stayed opened to wait for my medication to be picked up. I can't thank him and the rest of the team at Apthorp enough. I would recommend using this pharmacy for any and all of your drug store needs. You will not have a better experience anywhere else!

Where do we begin? Apthorp is hands down the best, most thoughtful pharmacy team in the city. This team, Jordan and Kesha specifically, went above and beyond for my husband and I when we forgot syringes for fertility meds on our way back into the city. Jordan offered to stay late in order for us to pick up our time-sensitive medication we needed that night - even texting us throughout the ride to make sure we were able to contact the pharmacy when their phone lines turned off after hours. The team here truly cares and has the most patient and understanding pharmacists you can find!

I have been using this pharmacy for my IVF medications and they have been great, especially Jordan! They don't rush you off the phone and answers all your questions. Very easy to reach via telephone without long wait times. Really recommend Apthorp pharmacy for IVF medication needs. And the free delivery to all of Manhattan has been a godsend!

Would go back to them in a second! Fully recommend going with them as your pharmacy if you are going through egg freezing or IVF.
The pharmacist Bill was kind enough to refund me any medications at the end of my cycle that was still sealed! Saving me around $900. :) This process is so expensive and stressful. Thankful to have gone with a pharmacy that was there to make the process as easy and budget friendly as possible.

This pharmacy literally helped me bring a life into this world and I am forever grateful. They use to have a great selection of perfumes but I hear that is a thing of the past as well as the best barrettes for adult women. If you wish the expensive shampoos that come in orange plastic, you can find it here as well. I will never forget all this pharmacy did for me. Bravo!

PSA: YOU CAN GET YOUR VACCINES HERE!!!!!!! I am so grateful to Apthorp pharmacy for providing me with both my first and second COVID-19 vaccines. The problem is that they aren't easy to find online to book appointments so they asked me to spread the word to my friends because they're getting in a new shipment of vaccines from the CDC next week.

This is a great place to go for fertility medication if the medication is not covered by your insurance. (It's also a great place if it is covered by insurance.) I called a bunch of speciality pharmacies in NYC and Apthorp had the best prices. In addition, the staff is very knowledgable of the IVF/egg freezing process and helped me save thousands of dollars by advising me to fill only 8 days of fertility medication (versus 12 days prescribed by my doctor) because they said IVF treatment is typically 12 days but could be less so it was better to buy less and then I could come back again

My grandparents have been Apthorp customers for decades. They are now in their 90s and were fortunate to get both doses of the COVID vaccine at Apthorp. The pharmacy staff could not have been more warm and accommodating when providing the vaccine. My grandparents have limited mobility, and when we went for their second shot, there was tons of snow and ice making it difficult for them to get out of the car and get into the store. Apthorp is a great pharmacy. Everything you're looking for in a pharmacy. It's easy to reach them and speak to a pharmacist. Pharmacist was very helpful in explaining meds and very patient. I had to purchase some meds out of pockets and they gave me the best price in the city. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

I had an issue with a prescription order. Some large pharmacies would tell you "you're on your own" but the folks at this pharmacy worked out the issue with zero hassle. Jordan is very kind and dealt with my issue and Jasmine did a great job explaining the breakdown and cost. I wish I'd known about them sooner.
