You are at a point where you need someone who can help you to move past limiting patterns that constrict you. To help you find a sense of home inside yourself and within relationship. I find that when my clients do this, they increase intimacy, trust and affection in their life. Be with your vulnerability and find safe ways to allow more love and connection into your life.
The story below shows what is possible when you commit to the transformational path of therapy. Susan was a young professional woman who felt she took all the necessary steps to lead a successful life. Ignoring her uneasiness didn't work. The critical voices in her head grew louder: "What is wrong with you?!" "You're not measuring up.

Stepping into a therapy office for the first time can be nerve racking, and rightfully so. You're walking in asking for emotional, psychological and possibly spiritual support from someone you have not met before. Like all relationships, it can take time to warm up. This is why it is essential for me to establish safety with a client first and foremost.
Has a big heart and feels like they're carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. Individual therapy can transform your life if you are committed to learning about yourself and open to possibility. Often times we, consciously or unconsciously, follow a map to life full of beliefs and how-to's that wasn't created with your unique self in mind.
Women have been raised to live through numerous roles: friend, mother, wife, daughter, boss. We are expected to stay sweet, while also fulfilling all the requirements to be attractive, intelligent, caretakers, who are successful, but not too loud or too big. And on top of it all, we are now being asked to "Lean In".
Somatic therapy allows not only your mind but also your body to reveal its truth about your experience. The body has its own way of communicating through sensations and impulses. Often times when people experience pain and suffering they disconnect from their body to protect themselves. Unfortunately, this will also disconnect them from their own aliveness and vitality.

I was referred to see Jacyln from a friend at a time I was struggling with my relationship and my own idenity. I was debating whether I should see marriage therapist or a therapist for myself. I chose me and that was the best decision ever along with making the decision to make the time to see Jacyln. From the moment we spoke, I felt an instant ease and ability to open up to her. She helped me realize things about myself I had forgotten and the importance of putting myself 1st and listening to my own intuition. She is a true gift and healer. She made me realize how important your own mental health

Jacki is an incredibly heartfelt, skilled, and gentle therapist. She has a keen mind and a clear eye, and she follows closely while also being a sure-footed guide. As her colleague, I've felt her loving presence in abundance, but what I especially love about Jacki is her trust--trust in others' innate wisdom, trust in deep process, trust in joy even if you don't think such a thing is possible. There are so many things we labor under, narratives and habits and patterns, and I can think of few people with more patience and respect for how we protect ourselves and how we might gently

Jaclyn changed my life and I will be forever grateful to her. I reached out to Jaclyn, amongst other therapists, during a time in my life where I was very confused about myself, my family, and choices I had made. I also thought I knew myself well enough that therapy would not be that helpful. Jaclyn really helped me get through my rough patch and equip me for success for the future. Letting me move through this process on my own terms and my own time, but kept me honest throughout. I highly recommend reaching out to Jaclyn.

This was my first ongoing therapy experience, and I could not recommend Jaclyn more highly. Unlike previous one-off experiences to talk through more immediate, obvious challenges, I sought out Jaclyn for support with processing chronic and underlying challenges with my self-view as a single 30-something woman wrangling career and relationships. Jaclyn is wonderful: She is a tremendous listener who cultivates an easy trust, and she reflects back to me objective and non-judgmental observations that have helped me recognize and act on my patterns beyond the walls of our sessions. Her calm demeanor

Jaclyn is a true gem. I never thought therapy would be for me but the experience has truly changed my life. I now recommend therapy to anyone who struggles with not getting what they want/desire in life. Cognitive therapy was particularly beneficial to me because it focuses on transforming the behavior traits/perceptions adolescence youth develop versus current day. Jaclyn helped me navigate back through tough questions/scenarios from my childhood that we deciphered and conquered. With professionalism and light Jaclyn helped me gain confidence and respect for myself. Thank you Jaclyn!

Usually therapy is something we talk about with our closest friends, and not with the public - certainly not Yelp. But a few of my friends have been struggling lately and I realized it's silly for me to tell only the people I know about Jacki, when I could tell anyone looking for a good therapist.
Jacki isn't just a good therapist, she's the best I've ever had. I came to her because I was really struggling with a terrible divorce and I needed support to a) deal with it, b) figure out why I'd gotten myself into such a mess and never do it again. Jacki is one of the most

Jacki has a grounded and warm presence that put you at ease immediately. She's a very skilled therapist and she's also very relatable. As a therapist myself, I would refer clients to her without hesitation. I know they will feel safe to open up and will get the support they need to help them heal, and live a happier or more balanced life.

This woman is not just a life changer, but through her therapy she is a life giver. I don't know much of the technical psychology jargon, but I do know from experience the feeling that this woman leaves on one's being, and that feeling is one of restoration.
Depression was my bag to carry, along with the extra weight of co-dependency knotted with the straps of a guarded pride. I carried that baggage for years being, not living in a state of limbo. Life went no where, and my feelings for it grew more and more numb as the years pass. Because of that inability to feel, and need to take care

Jaclyn is a truly gifted therapist. She makes me feel safe and comfortable so much so that I am able to express very vulnerable parts of myself that I rarely show. For example, anger is an emotion that I rarely express in front of people. However, with Jacyln I was able to express my anger with intensity and she was able to receive it with compassion and being fully grounded. It was an empowering experience to feel the full extent of my anger and seeing how energized I felt afterwards. Afterwards, she was able to articulate they dynamic of suppression of emotions that was connected to my stress

When I reflect on the past year of working with Jaclyn, I see the intersection of skill, insight, humor, and mindfulness in how she moves in the world. There is an uncanny ability to offer her own humanity along side insights for others, which automatically makes her accessible to her clients. She exudes a palpable warmth and understanding of others coupled with a quiet strength---you can rely on Jaclyn to hold healing space for what is arising for you!

I have known Jacki for about 4 years now and you know when you meet someone and there is just something different about them? They seem more authentic, more real, more trustworthy? It's not that they have all the answers or are some super successful individual who's "been there and done that." They just seem to have a quality about them that makes you feel that together, you can sift through the details of life and find the information you need. Well, that's Jacki. Jacki has the ability and willingness to be honest with you in a caring and compassionate manner. She

I have been working with Jaclyn for the past several months and I have enjoyed every moment. She combines mindfulness with traditional psychology which is my favorite style of therapy. She helps me identify my hurdles in life and offers insights about how I can grow and thrive. She is very accepting of who I am and she celebrates my strengths which helps me feel more confident in the world. Jaclyn is an excellent therapist and I would recommend her to anyone!!
