Value is placed on the doctor-patient relationship, offering convenient and longer appointment times as well as after hour physician services.
The internal medicine clinic visit is the key to developing the doctor-patient relationship. Physicians trained in preventing, diagnosing, and treating geriatric syndromes, or diseases that are unique to the older adult. Our physicians will come to your house, assisted living facility or retirement community for a visit.
Choosing a new internal medicine doctor can be a challenge, especially if you have moved to a new community. Asking for recommendations for an internal medicine doctor from coworkers, neighbors, and friends is a good way to start, but ultimately you will have to decide which internal medicine doctor is best suited to your personality, individual needs and situation.
Dr. Ahmed is a board certified internist (internal medicine doctor) and will treat all adults older than 18. She has special training in caring for patients older than 65. At this time, we do not treat children and we do not provide prenatal care. She can be your primary care physician as well. A new patient visit to the doctors office is 60 minutes and a follow-up visit is 30 minutes.
Our rates for self pay patients are based on Medicare rates. Village Physicians is a self pay clinic. In order to keep our costs low, we do not deal directly with insurance carriers except for traditional Medicare. We will provide all self-pay clinic patients and those with other insurance carriers a superbill at the end of the appointment.

I am so thankful we found Dr Ahmed at village physicians. She has been awesome with taking care of my mother. She is a great geriatric doctor. She is so patient and understanding with my mother. Since under Dr Ahmed's care, I have seen huge improvements in her health. I highly recommend Dr Ahmed and her team.

Dr. Nasiya Ahmed takes time to LISTEN. Do you realize how rare that is these days? She makes eye contact and is empathetic to my needs. She is extremely intelligent and capable of handling cardiology medications and issues, diabetes, arthritis, and any other ailments of the elderly. I like that she specializes in "seasoned" patients...haha!

My wife found Dr. Ahmed online because I needed to see a doctor and could not find one on my insurance that had an available new patient appointment within 2 weeks. I have to say the office is extremely efficient. Dr. Ahmed is thorough and a great physician. The staff even helped me fill out my insurance paperwork and I just got a check from them reimbursing me for the visit. This is how all doctor's offices should be.

I took my mom here recently. She is in her 70s. This was the first time she had seen a geriatric specialist. The appointment was really helpful for both of us (her as a patient and me as her main caretaker). Dr. Ahmed focuses a lot on prevention and gave us easy, practical tips to improve my mom's health over all. She was really open and approachable, and we had lots of time to ask more questions if we had any. I'm not over 65 myself, but since she sees all ranges of adults too, I plan to begin seeing her for myself too.

I went to see Dr Masita Ahmed for the First Time last week and I loved that I didn't wait long for her to see me, and she answered all my questions. I loved that she took the time with me.
