Kaimana Divers

One of the better dives I've done on the islands!
Ended up seeing two ship wrecks in one- visibility was good.
Both Victoria and Alex were phenomenal.
Patient, friendly and on top of everything.
Will definitely be coming back and diving with Kaimana.

A great time learning from Gabe and the rest of their team. COVID made things a bit more chaotic than we intended but Kaimana Divers was super responsive and flexible. Happy to say I was able to get my PADI certification AND my significant other was able to join on a dive my last day (she already has her certification).
I'd highly recommend and will go back for any future dives on Oahu.

Small group diving with great management and fun dive masters. Went there for a refresher after 12 years on land, got what I wanted plus dove with bunch of sea turtles.

Absolutely amazing diving! Gabe and his team (Alex, Victoria, Jason were our instructors) were so helpful and organised everything for our 5 days of diving. The reefs and wrecks were beautiful, and was hands-down best diving we've ever done. My sister and I were a little rusty, but the team was super accommodating and made us feel very comfortable in the water until we got our sea legs back. Wholeheartedly recommend Kaimana Divers!

Had a great time diving with Kaimana divers. Gabe was very responsive for booking and seems to really love diving. I went out two days for a total of 4 dives and had both Victoria and Gabe as instructors. Over the 4 days we saw some awesome wildlife such as: squids, eels, turtles, sting rays, sharks, and even a manta ray!! Even though I went on the trips as a single diver I was always given a buddy and made to feel comfortable and included. Thanks so much guys!

Had a fantastic time diving with Kaimana last month- spent 4 mornings and dove with Jason, Gabe and Alex (2x). We are both AOW, 400+ dives and had a ton of fun diving with them. Gabe made booking and organizing incredibly easy, they were able to provide us a DIN tank upon request and we brought all of our own equipment. Of note, on our final day, Alex offered to take our gear back and clean up, dry and then drop off to us at our hotel (we didn't take him up on the offer as we had plenty of time to clean/dry our gear before heading home-- but so generous!). I'll preface with this: I've been on over 200 dives in my 14 years of diving, and dived with tons of different shops, so I've seen what great operations look like, and what no-so-great operations look like.
I had an AWESOME experience with Kaimana Divers during my recent trip to Oahu. In his first email, Gabe impressed me with his kindness, professional manner, and advice. (And he's wonderful in person too) I booked 2 days of diving with them and both were great.

I visited a friend who recently moved to Honolulu and scheduled a 2 tank boat dive with Gabe and his team for the two of us. They met us at the pier with all of the gear and had everything set up. The provided us with wet suits and quality gear. The two dives were absolutely amazing and were lead by a wonderful dive guide. At our surface interval, there was snacks and drinks. I would definitely recommend Kaimana Divers to anyone and everyone! They are extremely friendly and professional.

Gabe and Greg are the best! Got open water certified, and they were wonderful to work with at every step. Greg was our instructor and went above and beyond to make us feel prepared and safe, and the dives themselves were incredible. Looking forward to many more!

Had such a great time with Gab, Jason, and Alex. We were first time divers and they took their time teaching us the fundamentals of diving. They were friendly, patient, and extremely professional. Made a great experience for us. I highly recommend them!!

I previously wrote a 5-star review of Kaimana Divers back in January 2019 when we were newly certified divers. Now almost three years later we had the opportunity to dive with them again and, if anything, Gabe and his crew are even better (come on, Yelp, where is the 6-star review?) We dove the afternoon shallow two-tank reef on Saturday with Alex and the morning wreck/reef two-tank dive on Sunday with Gabe.

Dived in a small group of experienced divers, didn’t get rushed, but rather enjoyed and used our air. Constantly got helped with the gear on boat and they provided snacks and drinks. Nice people to be around, and all that for a very fair price.
Specially appreciate we were not pushed into posting reviews or leaving tips. And that’s why they got the both. Deserved by doing the business right.

I was very pleased with Greg our dive master. I am PADI certified diver, but haven't dove for a few years. Greg made it very easy for me. He was patient with me when I had ear problems and took a few minutes to get down to 40 feet. I also have a weak hip due to surgery and had a problem getting out of the boat. Greg took off my gear in the water so I could get out without the equipment. Greg also did a great job of pointing out octopus, eel and turtles. I don't hesitate to fully recommend Kaimana Divers

Stoked to get my padi cert with kaimana. Jason was super laid back and did a good job making sure we were prepared for our dives. Couldn’t ask for a better teacher. Saw turtles, octopus, eels, harlequin shrimp, frog fish. Gabe was also very helpful leading up to my trip. Plus they are both Oregon boys / go ducks!

I met Gabe when I signed up for an adventure dive. Gabe made my first diving experience amazing and worry-free. I decided to sign up for my open water diving certification. Ryan ended up being my instructor for the entirety of the course. Ryan made sure that all of the course skill requirements were clear and understandable. I highly recommend Gabe's crew for any underwater adventures you might be planning.

Always an awesome time diving with the crew from Kaimana. We did the morning charter out of Kewalo harbor. All the gear was prepped. The staff was friendly and efficient.

I had two of my favorite dives with them! The Sea Tiger wreck, then reef dives were AWESOME with Gabe as our guide. He pointed out amazing features underwater, especially all the camouflaged marine life I wouldn't have picked up on. A big plus was we were able to soak up all the sites underwater with his relaxed pace, I could really look around and not feel I was rushing by the subtle underwater features.

A M A Z I N G !!! Gabe and his team were so great to work with for getting scuba certified. Communication before getting to the island was great via email, and text, and the shop was walking distance from the hotel. Pool dive and boat dives were convenient. Definitely a great experience for our kids. We had a friend help narrow down places to get certified, and so glad we ended up with Kaimana Divers, and Gabe!!

As a first time scuba diver, I would highly recommend Kaimana Divers. I was a bit anxious since I wasn't the most comfortable with the idea of being under water for long periods of time but our amazing instructor Alex walked us through the tutorial and got us prepared and ready to dive. Alex was very knowledgeable and patient and felt safe to be to go diving with. I was close to not being able to make the dive but he was able to calm my nerves and continue on. If you haven't tried scuba diving before, this is your go to place!!

Gabe and his team have been amazing to dive with. They are so friendly and helpful, and helped me feel comfortable and safe when I had equalization problems. I got my Advanced PADI Cert with them in Sept 2019 (Nick as DM), and went diving with them again recently while visiting in July 2021 (Alex and Greg as DMs). We haven't considered going with another dive company while visiting Honolulu because we've had no issues and the price per charter is very reasonable.

Had an absolute blast on a dive through Kaimana Divers with Alex as our instructor. His humor was on point and his patience instructing our group of 4 was second to none. If you're looking for a great first time experience I highly recommend Alex as a guide. He expertly worked to calm anxious members of our group and patiently brought everyone to a comfortable experience. We forged a fantastic memory that everyone will remember for years to come.

Gabe and Alex are awesome guides! A very personalized experience and small dive groups. They are both very thorough, safe, and have great manners. They are both very patient and explain concepts very thoroughly to beginners, and also give kindly reminders to more advance divers.

Gabe is very attentive in trouble shooting underwater and will guide safe dives. There were a lot beginner divers having trouble equalizing their ears and with buoyancy and he assisted in a heart beat which gave more advance divers room to enjoy the dives.

Got my advanced open water diver certification here! For context, my friend and I just got our open water certification a month ago so we're still relatively new to diving.
Gabe handled the logistics and Alex was my instructor. They're both easy to talk to, communicative, honest, and they really make sure you know the material!
I like how they emphasized doing the readings + knowledge reviews, and they would definitely go over things in person.
My only complaint would be the boats can feel a little crowded (mostly cause of COVID), as you're with other diving groups. But you&apos

I went on two dive trips here in Oahu and both were amazing. My first dive was a refresher because I hadn't dove in several years. Alex, one of the dive instructors, was very helpful in getting me reacquainted with the gear and dive protocols. I had so much fun on the refresher dive that I booked another dive a few days later.

The highlights of the dive were the turtles. I had never seen turtles in person and it was unreal to be swimming next to them. Moreover, Alex brought his go pro and grabbed some cool pics of me with the turtles.

Gabe was FINTASTIC. He took my bestie for a discover scuba. She was so comfortable working with him because he is very easy going and relaxed. She said she couldn't ask for a better instructor for her first dives. Gabe is a very experienced instructor and it shows. He ensures everyone is having a fun and safe time.
