After more than a decade honing his skills in landscape design and project management, BJ Nordby did what many of us dream of doing. He struck out on his own, creating New Leaf Landscapes & Concrete. BJ's journey toward fulfilling this dream began when he was 13 years old working in a Quad Cities garden center.
It continued as he studied landscape architecture at Iowa State University before he returned to the Quad Cities where he's spent the last 16 years as a landscaping professional. BJ is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is certified by the National Concrete Masonry Association for segmental retaining wall installation.

WARNING! Find someone else.
Concrete - PSI of first pour was too low. Scaling after 1 year! Finally won the argument over jackhammering and pouring new concrete. No scaling so far.
But, this time New Leaf dumped concrete slurry in my neighbor's grass, and in the mulch bed behind my house. BJ did not apologize; but, said he would have it taken care of. 3 months and NO SHOW! I have had to pick concrete pieces out of the grass for days, my mulch bed still has hazardous waste in it.
Calling the EPA, BBB, FTC, and talk radio WOC-1420 next!

Absolutely zero concern for the neighbors, all these people care about is themselves and getting their work done. Our entire street is currently blocked off thanks to the company's trucks and trailers. Three houses cant even get out of their driveways, a man who I assume to be some sort of site manager showed up and didn't change a damned thing. The complete lack of courtesy shown by this company can only be described as disgusting.
